CNCNZ.com LiveWire - January 2008

Recommended Posts

You probably noticed the the teaser image on our main page and watched the video teaser about CNCNZ.com LiveWire. Perhaps you wondered what it was, well wonder no more because CNCNZ.com LiveWire has arrived. If you recall last December we unveiled Video Podcast here at CNCNZ.com, LiveWire is basically the same but we worked on improving the overall presentation of the show and how it was edited. Along the way it was renamed to LiveWire. Its been a learning experience for us and we are still early in the LiveWire project. I'm already planning next months show. For now check out January 2008 edition of CNCNZ.com LiveWire. Changing the way news is reported in the C&C Community. CNCNZ.com LiveWire is a quick round up of selected news items delivered to you as a video podcast.

We need your feeback about LiveWire so please post it in the news comments. And as quick reminder, look out for our other show called "Rewind". More on that later.

Twas quite good i presume, especially for those who are not 24/7 connected or at our beloved () site that much.

If anything, it needs more dynamic, but apart from that, it was really solid and im looking forward to the next episode and that Rewind thingy.

GJ Zee & Sonic.

This was exponentially better than the first episode. When you get comfortable with the whole process, the next thing is to work on different camera angels, or different host positions to mix it up a bit.

My only pet peeve is the long credits...

---

This is more promising that the first commmand school episode!

Can't wait for Zee to get a co-host, maybe Sonic help you find different female co-hosts for each episode! And next community summit, we'll be looking for some exclusive interviews or something... when have you booked Joe Kucan!

:)

me want more!

The length of the show will increase next month when we add the mod segment so the credits will probably be changed and shortened.

Very nice, including footage of what you're talking about makes it much more interesting and professional.

My only concern is the quality of YouTube, you could try Stage6 as that seems to compress videos much less.

Here's a suggestion/request for future Livewire episodes... a download of the week feature... particularly on maps (mods being something else).

I was just about to start a skirmish game the other day, and I was thinking I wanted to try something unusual... So I was about to start searching for best & brightest out there... but how cool would it be if you guys did all the work for me?

Anyway, I'm particularly thinking of C&C3, but perhaps a "LIVEWIRE TOP 5" downloadable maps per game... C&C1, RA, TW, RA2, ZH, C&C3 etc... there's a few episodes worth of segments at least. Includes some reviews by a designated person, and some b-roll of the map in action - showcasing why it's mentioned. Seems like a no-brainer.

(Anyway is Open Map best current source or should I look elsewhere first?)

I have no camera or recording equipment. Just a standard Sony digital camera, it records video but its not suitable for LiveWire.
