The Community C&C Bug Database

Recommended Posts

After it was mentioned in our forums, new site has recently opened. The Community C&C Bug Database. Managed by Johnnyxp64, the Community C&C Bug Database is for anyone to report bugs found in Command & Conquer 3 and Kane's Wrath, when it releases. They are collected and presented in a database format and updated when the reported bug is fixed.

Hi all,

first of all i would like to thank Sonic for the support

also as you say there is "no hope" for future patches in older games so we didnt include those in our database...

we try to focus for now in TW and KW, that will be supported at least for 1year more. by doing that we hope we will able to "force" the dev team to support them even longer and make the more polished before realesing them sometimes.

if you have a bug/issue to report go ahead and posted over http://synapse.gr/cnc

but before just that just do a quick search with some key words, to check if the bug has allready been reported.

plz dont report bugs / issues here!

thank you very much for your support :)

Regards

Johnnyxp64

P.S I will Add later sections for the First Decade but only for Generals + Zero Hour gause i hope those games shouldent die allready!not untill Generals 2 at least :D

Is there some way to add 'extra' information to the bugs? For example, the bug that a harvester filled with blue tiberium will spawn normal green tiberium when killed will never get fixed. This is a WONTFIX IMHO because it does not affect gameplay; it is a rather cosmetic bug.

or try the ADD NEW ISSUE Button and check the options you have, if you dont want to add anything just hit the BACK button ;-)

p.s i love a game to have details!!!! that gives motive to like it and play it more and showes the dev quality!

details are making the difference!

if you mean if there is a section to report a bug/issue for Console xbox 360

then yes by feeling in the add new issue form, at the last dropdown menu you have to sellect your platform...

windows xp 32+64

windows vista 32+64

mac os x

Console

if your console is Vista then you know what is your bug :badpc:

Why bother for the Xbox 360? They don't even get patches because they're too big. :P

That really sucks. C&C3 isn't nearly the same game that it was when it was released... :(

No its totally fair if you ask me. If your stupid enough to buy a Console version of a PC game then you deserve to get ****ed in the ass, for being so stupid. :)

The reverse is the same to, porting games USUALLY end in disaster, its just how it is.

There was a patch planned for C&C 3 on Xbox 360. Last I heard it was going through Microsoft's certification process for Xbox Live or something along those lines. I have no idea if it was released or forgotten about.

It was rejected by MS. Apparently, they don't allow patches to be greater than like 4mb or something along those lines... Patches are not to be confused with map packs though, as they are larger and allowed. So its weird... Eh.

I'll find a link to the post.

Wow MS, you really care about your customers...

Its not really MS fault. I mean if you compare the quality between Consoles and PCs on release. Consoles are much higher up there. As they can't really afford to have game ending faults, or at least they didn't use to.

(right hand raised)

M$ understands that customers expect bug-free deployment of software - and don't want to inconvenience customers with rediculously large patches, but recognise that players will pay for new maps.

(right hand lowered).

So maybe M% should allow you to buy patches, and therefore it get through the process.

Can you imagine ponying up $100 for a faulty game and then paying $10 extra for a patch???

What a crazy world we live in....

[well 'we' being all 'you' crazy console users!]

Crazy because it's the not too distant future...
