    Oh dear. Does having the boxed version make any difference? I bought the boxed copy in 2011, pretty much a year after release, and I think I got the mission back then.

  3. I do a review series of these unofficial expansions for C&C1/RA. I'd be interested in ISOs/files from the floppies of those games. I'll also make ISOs of my own collection, and maybe box scans once I have some times (though MobyGames already has a good number of box scans).

    You can just use an American address to buy digital stuff. There is a barrier, but it's easy to circumvent.
  6. As per title: Is there a way to delete custom squads in WCM? I check the Kane's Wrath appdata folder, but one of the config files seems to have that information. EDIT: Nevermind, found it. I overlooked that there's a separate strike force menu.

  8. I ecnountered this bug today: The skirmish match options menu is bugged. All the maps seem to be gone, and none of the options except for "Back" seems to do anything (screenshot here). I didn't modify the game files and the game ran fine a couple of days ago. I'll probably just reinstall it, but I'd be curious whether someone knows what could have caused this. I'm running the disc version of RA3 with the latest patch on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    PC Gamer Revisits Red Alert 2

    The Chrono Prism as well as a bunch of other units/buildings. As for RA2 being silly: I think the mix between ham and seriousness works rather well. e.g. when I first saw the cut scene where [a certain character] gets blow up. Better than many other games that got for the "dark and mature" theme and end up being way more cringy.
  10. Not the best fix, but you could give Borderless Gaming a shot and run the game in borderless windowed mode.

    In this mission, they give you a nigh-invincible super unit... and then design the map in a way that makes it as hard as possible to use said super unit. Still not that difficult for the game's pre-ultimate mission. Rising Sun Mission 8: Crumble, Kremlin, Crumble
  14. I just tried to launch a mod for TW... but the Game Browser seems to be missing. It's simply not there (see screenshots here and here). What's up with that? They didn't remove the mod launcher from the Kane Edition, did they?

    This is a pretty fun mission. There's a lot of ways to approach it, and the map has a slight sandbox feeling, which I like. Also, we destroy EA Los Angeles in a unintentionally ironic twist. Rising Sun Mission 6: Rage of the Black Tortoise

    Glad to hear it has been fixed. I've never heard of this bug before, but then again, I haven't played FS all that much.

    I played that mission about two weeks ago, and it worked fine. I have the TFD version installed, though. You get that MCV once the cyborg commando, the two regular cyborgs and the four artillery pieces have been dealt with. You also get a APC with some infantry if you destroy one of the bridges. If you can't get the MCV after fulfilling those requirements, leave a comment here. I'll upload a save game just after the MCV has appeared.

    Gritty and realistic? I think we already have enough games where brown is the only colour used with a sepia-grain filter and a moody protagonist.
