Posts with 5 or more reputation points will now be display with this star icon. Thought I better reply to this. The share icon was added during updates to the 3.x versions of IP.Board. Posts where always assigned an ID for a permalink but IPS decided to expand on it some more I guess. So you can still right click to get the permalink, left click on the to get slightly cleaner permalink and various share options. Right Click: http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16125-various-forum-changes-updates-additions/page-9#entry219781 Left Click: http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16125-various-forum-changes-updates-additions/?p=219781 Either one works the same way. There is CSS bug that can sometimes make a vertical scroll bar appear when you open the share post window. -

Just forget about the online reviews. Simply put, if you like the first 3, you will like the 4th one. I know Michael Bay gets a lot **** talked about it him. But some of my favourite movies are Michael Bay movies. I don't mind them.

Any great alternatives to VLC Media Player?
Sonic replied to PurpleGaga27's topic in Tech Discussion & Support
Since switching to Windows 7 back in late 2009 I've never bothered with any alternative media players, mostly due to the fact that Windows Media Player 12.0 does everything. When I upgrade to Windows 8.1 later this year I'll be sticking with Windows Media Player. -
C&C: Online has been available for a couple of days now. With that in mind, Sybert, has made this great video tutorial to help people get started and get online with C&C: Online. There is plenty of help availble for C&C: Online. Either via the C&C: Online section here on CNCNZ.com, the C&C: Online site and the support forums.

Good to see you solved the problem. I don't understand how a malware problem on your computer can prevent you from logging in though.

For quite some time we have had the Freeware Classic Command & Conquer Games available for download from CNCNZ.com. These were all made available for free by EA at various stages. By popular demand, the add-ons Covert Operations for Command & Conquer, Counterstrike and Aftermath for Red Alert can now be downloaded as well. These are ISOs made from the original CDs. Command & Conquer: Covert Operations Red Alert: Counterstrike Red Alert: Aftermath Click on the links above for the downloads. You will also find them on the Freeware Classic Command & Conquer Games page.

C&C: Online hasn't launched just yet but its getting there. In the meantime, a new Fair Play and Member Management section has been opened on the Revora Forums. This new section includes a guide that explains How to claim your old nick name(s). This appears to be a rather important transitional step for the likes of Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3, as you will not be able to use your old nick names until they have been verified that you own them. Once you have signed up for a Revora account, go to this forum at Revora and make your claim. Visit the new C&C: Online page here at CNCNZ.com for more details about the new community-driven GameSpy replacement.

The Dawn of the Tiberium Age 1.1282 mod for Tiberian Sun has been made available for download. It includes a completely new Soviet Campaign with 8 varied and unique missions. To go with the new campaign, this update also contains a large amount of bug fixes and gameplay improvements. The full list of updates in this release can be found in the change log. Visit the The Dawn of the Tiberium Age page on Mod DB for the download.

Here's something for all fans still modding and hacking away at Tiberian Sun. Version 01.00.00.02 of the C&C Executable Modifier has been released. This is a tool that offers an easy to use interface to apply the various EXE changes/hacks that have been found over time. It shows a list the available hacks and marks those which are already applied to the EXE and those which are not. The list of hacks is stored in a very easy editable hacks.ini. Visit this thread in the Project Perfect Mod forums for more information and the download.

I disagree. I feel I have achieved a better balance, removing the grey text, cutting back on the blues. There is only a small amount of grey text left for a few things. I even fixed the little share icon in the top right corner of each post , it has always been to big and it bugged me. -
We have had a few teasers, and people have had many questions, and now we have been given the all clear to announce C&C: Online, the new community based initiative to prolong the online life of your favourite Command & Conquer games. So please read the following announcement below, it explains everything and it should give you an idea of how it will work. So as you can see this is a community based initiative to replace GameSpy. You can check out more on the C&C:Online forum at Revora.

I do admit the this blue was coming off to strong. So I've done some more tweaking, looking for a better balance. As I said before I was trying to get rid off the dull grey colours that don't really feature in the main site design any more. Attempting to make sure that anything that's a link is in the gold text. I think it looks better now. If something should be changed feel free to suggest to it. -

Tweaked some of the forum font colours, eliminating a lot of the darker grey colours that aren't technically part of the overall site colours, or colours that have been phased out. Many of the these have been replaced with this blue or just plain white. -
Good to hear you got it working. That's normal, probably an engine related issue. It doesn't really effect the overall gameplay. Once your done with Renegade you might want to check out the remake Renegade X - http://www.renegade-x.com/ http://www.cncnz.com/games/renegade-x/ http://www.cncnz.com/downloads/renegade-x/multiplayer-releases/ http://www.cncnz.com/downloads/renegade-x/single-player-releases/

Let's talk about what you eat. In recent months I had to make some changes to my diet and cut out a few things. I also got back into the habit of having proper breakfast rather than skipping it. I don't drink soft drinks, energy drinks as they are loaded with sugar, the marketing **** they print on the can or bottle is all lies, there is nothing in them that's good for you. All I drink is plenty of water and 1 Up n Go (Google it) in the mourning. So what's your diet like? Would you consider yourself a healthy eater? If you made changes to your diet, did you find it difficult to make these changes and stick with it?

Renegade should work with Windows 8. I haven't tested myself, nor I have tested The Ultimate Collection release of the game. I've only ever used the original CD release and installed it on Windows 7, setting the appropriate compatibility settings. So I would at least attempt to set these options for Renegade on Windows 8. Follow this guide from Microsoft http://windows.microsoft.com/en-NZ/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

I guess the TFD and TUC can be thought of as more significant releases than the others you listed. -
