lately our current governments have been as bad... i just read a newstory about Ian Oakly who launched a campaign of intimidation against the liberal democrats in his area o.o; for a conservative it seems pretty darn gutsy XD tyre slashing, graffiti and threatening letters o.o; let's hope if anarchy does become the countries' main party that it'll be a tad more organized and safe then we would expect from the term "anarchy" o.o

Well there's a major contradiction. Control people's personal beliefs to prevent control? This goes even beyond physical restriction...

 

I know religions all have rules, but these are moral rules, not authority enforced laws (with the exception of church-governments such as the former Vatican influence and current Muslim territories). If you abolish religious regulations, then you enter a new level of lawlessness, that in which even personal limitations are not allowed. Thus, no one can say they would not do something because they don’t feel it is right, because there can be no right or wrong with no personal limitations.

 

How can anarchists call for freedom and promote oppression at the same time?

 

I’m afraid that abolishing freedom of religion has extinguished what little respect I had left for the idea of anarchy.

hey hey hey i wasn't saying you were a religious fanatic type so let's cut with the high and mighty crap o.O i was saying that if you believe in chaos chances are you're gonna be tempted by a chaos subgroup in attempting to get stuff done. and what makes you so different from a religious extremist trying to blow something up if you take the same route? at least he has the excuse of trying to achieve something... you're just doing it to cause chaos. just don't head down that route at all... it's bad enough you're trying to corrupt all of us and make us tear down our happy little lifestyles but if you actually went out and started causing trouble you might end up hurting innocent people. and i don't just mean hurting via death or pain. even something as minor as spray painting a wall can hurt someone :\

and the shoplifting thing you were talking about a few weeks ago? do you really think that hurts no-one? for all you know you could be ruining some security guards life by getting him fired and a black mark on his record. or taking something that honest paying customers might need...
