The Red Alert 3 Uprising Commanders Challenge Daily Videos have started on the Official C&C Site. Each day for the next week there will be a new video highlighting a new Commanders Challenge mission. You can watch the first one right here at CNCNZ.com via the CNCNZ.com YouTube Channel.

Oh and did you catch the menu? I think they've showed that not sure.

1- the video is WAY TOO short! and infoless i had to pause every frame to examin the units etc

 

2- the main menu was nice, (but i generally prefered the TW menu, this flash cartoony menu isnt my favorit)

 

3- the allied new unit (cant remember its name) the one that looks like a Goliath on Wheels, althought i dont like the idea of mech units in the Allied arsenal, this baby moves like a tank and it doesnt feels so hi-tech like the japanise, and i liked that! great animation guys!

 

4- the volcanic map was "cool"

 

i have preorder it and i hope EALA will give us more expansions for RA3 in the future.

 

one think thought its not clear to me, those new units will be finally available to Skirmish or not? i know they will not be in multiplayer online, but what about skirmish and LAN?

has this been defined 100% so far?

Interesting tweak to the main menu. Since this video is way too short, I can't really comment much, we will have to wait and see more updates.

 

However, I managed to get some interesting things out of the video:

 

Scavenger

 

This was a site of a particularly fierce battle in which the Soviet Union's infamous Natasha wound up shooting the pilots out of dozens of different vehicles. And now, Commander Vera is trying to clean up the mess, while her rival Takara threatens to snatch up as many operational vehicles as possible. Do not wait for them to settle in. Get your forces to those vehicles as quickly as you can, and drive Vera and Takara out. There's a treasure trove of forensic evidence waiting for us here.

Winning the mission will unlocked Natasha.

 

From this info, a new Soviet female Commander featured in the game is called Commander Vera!

They should make challenge missions quick to complete. I think it's more fun that way.

Yeah but thats cheating too. Because eventually all the resources run out. And the AI being stupid, will send wave after wave of troops your way. Whilst you just sit there and keep your big army there, till they haven money.
