RA3 Uprising Unit Profile - Allies Pacifier FAV

Recommended Posts

A new Red Alert 3 Uprising unit profile has been added to the ever expanding list on the Official C&C Site. This Uprising profile features the Allies Pacifier FAV. As always, there is a short in game video, concept art and extra information. Here is a sample....

The Grand Cannon - The most important feature of the Pacifier is its twin-barrelled artillery piece, which features the longest range and most devastating impact of any terrestrial artillery platform used in recent times. Not much can withstand a single volley from the Grand Cannon, which can shatter enemy defenses, installations, and formations. Because of its blast radius and 85-percent "on target" accuracy rating, the Grand Cannon is most suitable for areas in which collateral damage is acceptable.

All-terrain capability - The Pacifier may travel across all terrain, including water, and does so with considerable speed and minimal noise. Its miniguns defend it during transit, offering full 360-degree coverage without exposing the turret gunner to hostile fire. The Pacifier may only deploy its artillery on flat surfaces.

I love this unit, good thing that the devs relate this new unit to the orginal grand cannon! Cool.

Looks weak but it can be deadly.

Its always the rules of an artillery unit in RTS games. Heavy firepower with light armor as the drawback.

I'm happy to use this Pacifier FAV unit more than the Athena Cannon. :D

Not always, in WC3 for example they don't have weak armor but they are expensive, slow and do less damage vs units.

its great as a unit but i find it too Japanish to fit in with the allies, its from futurecorp so that exuses its design, yet again i think its a little to japanise....we will see cant wait for the uprising! :)
