Wee_Ooh 0 Posted May 13, 2009 Is it possible to take screenshots from C&C95? Print Screen just takes a black screen... Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted May 14, 2009 Can't be done that way. You get the screwiness. Too bad I forgot the right method. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted May 14, 2009 You have to use an external software to do this. Share this post Link to post
Wee_Ooh 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Dang it! I always start topics on the wrong board. Thanks for the help, DD. >_> Do you know of a specific program, Malevolence? I've tried to find one before, but I didn't have any luck. Maybe because I was looking for a free program... Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted May 14, 2009 It's so long and kinda forgot about what software was that. Maybe you should try asking in the official EA C&C forums? Share this post Link to post
Tore 33 Posted May 14, 2009 There are many methods you can use to create a screenshot from C&C1/RA95. You can use Fraps You can use ArsClip just start it and take a screenshot with print screen and paste it paint. and there is a guide made by Nyerguds somewhere on CnCWorld which keeps the orginal palletes which makes the picture higher quality, but I cant find it.... Wee_Ooh 0 Posted May 15, 2009 Thanks a lot. Now I'm going to make a TD sig. Hopefully. Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted May 17, 2009 (edited) There's some more methods... one is to keep Word or another MS Office program open while playing, and then the Office clipboard will keep the palette. Though this method does screw up the palette a bit, the end result is pretty decent. The 'perfect' method is to simply load the original palette back into the screenshot. It is explained at the CnCWorld forum, here: http://www.cncforums.com/new/showthread.ph...1975&page=2 Edited May 28, 2009 by Nyerguds Share this post Link to post

CCHyper 3 Posted December 16, 2009 On a note, im working on some code for C&C for Nyer, that allows the game to dump the screen to a PCX file, full palette captured too. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 16, 2009 now that is what i call cool, keep us updated on this Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted December 18, 2009 (edited) Heh, yeah, RA already has some sort of video capture code. It dumps a bunch of pcx files in the game folder, but every time it dumps the next bunch it overwrites the previous one, lol. Makes it kinda useless for actual video capturing of more than 1 second For now, I posted a pretty straightforward guide here: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cncstu...creenshots.html Edited December 18, 2009 by Nyerguds Share this post Link to post
