Just a few quick polls to find out who is using what on their computer. Example. Do you use and LCD monitor or are you still insisting that CRT is better ;)

Due to limits and entire computer system can't be covered in these polls. For this one is covering CPU, Monitor and OS.

Intel Core2, non-wide LCD and Windows XP x86. I'd still use Windows 98SE but I need a new copy.

LCD > CRT.

1) Smaller on my desk.

2) Makes less noise.

3) Text is more crisp, though colours aren't quite as vibrant.

4) I can play my PS3 on it in HD. ^_^

Why?

Old OS is old.

Old OS is old.

Why not? If it works enough for your own intentions...

Always having what is newest only satisfies a techie and Microsoft.

Old OS is old.

It's really not that old. And it would be nice to play Red Alert without a whole of grief from the OS.

Man, I need to get a new computer. The only option that could be worse is my OS. >_>

Iv'e heard alot of great things about Windows 7, (that it runs faster than XP and looks better than Vista)

So I think im going for that one when it comes out.

I'm definitely running Windows 7 for my new builds until the next great OS comes along. I hope Microsoft just leaves it alone for a long time like they did with XP.

Personally, I find moving OS's as fast as they do a joke but eh. Can't have everything.

Intel Core i7 4 Cores 8 Threads (Never get so fast and overwhelming in my life!), Widescreen LCD 16:10 (Yea goodbye to the classic CRT monitor), and Windows 7 Ultimate RTM 64 bit. (Awesome OS!)
