From the article I read, EA Sports may earn the most, BUT it's still part of EA, so therefore, all types of games share the profit.

What constitutes a waste of money is relative to the perspective of the owner of the money. If EA wants to keep their money, than yes, spending .00000025% of their funds is a waste.

Wealth is always a relative thing. I could afford the redesign of their box art myself, I could afford to redesign it several times without the fear of going broke, but it would rather keep my money, so to me it would also be a waste.

Having the money does not mean you are obligated to spend it.

But when someone or person have all that much money, why not donate some to charity? But for this case, if EA doesn't want to spend it, then go ahead and buy the whole world and try to beat Disney, Disney just bought Marvel for 4 Billion, and let's see if EA can merge another competition and start competing against Disney as its main rival billionaires.

 

If I have $50, I don't simply buy a $20 dinner for fun, I rather save it. If I have $5000, I spend a $20 is no big deal and it's good too as long it's not daily. For EA, I doubt they won't spend a single penny out of it, SCROOGE!

As I said, having the money does not mean you are obligated to spend it. Not on charity, not on a $20 meal, not on a box art.

It is their money, not the fans', not Westwood's, not yours or mine.

It's 4 billion revenue, not 4 billion profit. They can't just spend it on whatever they wish.
