C&C 4 Release Date & Two New Screen Shots

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight now has an official release date. So let the countdown begin. EA announced today that gamers worldwide will experience an all new way to play RTS games when Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight hits store shelves in North America on the 16th of March 2010 and in Europe on March 19th of March 2010.

 

To go with the announcement of the release dates, 2 brand new screen shots were found.

 

And while we are on the subject of release dates. You will notice that our handy Game Tracker is in a new location on the main site, just near the top of the page so it can be seen at a glance. You will always be able to find the confirmed release date here. This change on the main page was due to recent actions taken by a large video hosting site.

Talk about rushed. I know thats the TW anniversary, but seriously? With all the staff cuts that may affect the team and all, you'd have thought they'd push it back so they could retune it, get all the unit profiles up, have the Beta...there's a lot of work ahead.

Staff cuts are set to happen after the game is released, not before.

 

Also its not that rushed, remember its been in development a while before it was announced. It should be fine...

With some staff cuts to EA, there's a chance that C&C4 will be outsourced again (possibly to BreakAway Games again....) since a number of people at EALA have left. And for the ones left, they'll have a chance to finish before this release deadline. After the release of C&C4, EALA is doomed for sure.

We've got a great game to finish, a Beta test to kick off, and a lot of C&C fans like yourselves to please.

But yeah, my real point above stands. My concern is the game is being rushed out. Yes its had X years in development, but its had a similar production length to RA3.

I don't know why everyone is shocked everytime they set a release date, they have a set amount if time to create a title that they have to keep to.

Also, Luk3us, You really need to see the recent BCPT, It's got bucketloads of gameplay footage and plenty of Nod-wtf?
