Raj Joshi's Final Day at EALA

Recommended Posts

Just like 2POC the other day, Command & Conquer 4 Producer and BattleCast Primetime host, Raj Joshi is also saying farewell to EALA. Apparently Raj posted this quick message on his Facebook page.

"That's all folks!!! Final day at EA!!"

Not sure what this means for the future of BattleCast Primetime, but APOC has already confirmed that Raj will be back to host one more episode.

Am I the only one to detect a positive tone in the message he posted?

Bye Raj!

So I guess everyone who has finished their work on the game is going to leave before they are laid off.

Best of luck, Raj.

Fairly sure they are dumping the entire team, except for a few lucky peoples.

Should we even hope that the servers for C&C 4 will survive a year? The team seems to be dropping off like flies...

Sad though, good luck Raj!

APOC has already said ages ago that plans have been put in place to support C&C 4.

There will be a new C&C/RTS team at EALA headed by Jon Van Caneghem, the new man in charge of the C&C franchise. We will learn more about him and his plans when the time is right.

I'm not exactly sure when you said Jon Van has a new team leading the franchise, I hope the team members are here to replace our existing art team (who works on creating units & draw concept arts including modeling them) as well as our dev team. The current dev & art team who worked C&C3 until Uprising were at their good reputations (to some others, from good to bad), but C&C4 is just got worse, so I know they must resign from handling the franchise, thus you see how the community hates them & the game, and they all fall apart as seen in the official forums. Hopefully Jon Van will shine a light for the franchise rather than putting more shame onto it like our existing C&C4 dev & art teams did.

Ah man, end of a game project (C&C4), people move on. Remember how David Silberman moved on like over a year ago? C&C will survive, though I will miss his energetic talking. He's like this in real life as well. Lets wait and see where he goes next!

On a related subject, will the "C&C Live team" or whatever it was called also be sacked?

Weren't they supposed to support old C&C games or something like that. I haven't seen anything they've created though, so I suppose the effort failed.

When I see this, I knew that BCPT is going to make its exit, enough for a BCPT finale episode for Raj and the crew team. No one can replace Raj and David, unless if Kane hosts BCPT. :P

Even someone wants Jeremy Feasel to host BCPT in the first place, but he's more of a busy developer.

I'm sure they were already sacked months and months ago. EALA hyped them up for something like 1-3 months and then we heard absolutely nothing about them after that.

Call me crazy, but I haven't given up on the concept just yet. I thought the support team would focus on C&C4 first, then the other games.
