No its not you, they are meh. Cartoonish almost, but its the Starcraft style.

 

That and they want to make this as accessible as possible.

Since nothing has been developed on the campaign, isn't it a bit early to be making rather bold statements about the campaign?

Doesn't the game have an interactive menu with a live avatar (you) which means you have sub quests?

From memory, I think your tech increases as the campaign continues, so maybe this is a more elaborate commanders challenge in design...

A thought occurs: Do they have the same voice actors for recurring characters like Kerrigan and Raynor?

Kerrigan is being voiced by Tricia Helfer, so no on that front. I don't know about Raynor, but he sounds different in trailers, though haven't played teh game in yonks.

A women with the looks of Tricia Helfer should not be doing voice acting. Oh well at least we got in live action FMVs in C&C 3.

I am disappointed that Kerrigan is getting a new voice actress (probably Jim too), but I guess after more than 10 years that doesn't come as a surprise.

Who here is playing the beta? If I pre-order from random online store, I get a beta invite, but I don't know if I can be bothered downloading and playing it.

 

 

THAT, and beta's always seem to leave me wanting more... A lot more, so I think I'll just wait till July.

I'm deliberately not interested in the SC beta... I want to enjoy it all when I buy it and play the SP right through first.
