Which C&C game is the worst?

After finding out that C&C4 got a 65% average rating from Metacritic (through over 60 reviews) and 64% average for RA3 Uprising from the same website, I obviously feel compelled to make a poll on this.

 

Still my favorite game is a CNC expansion pack, which is RA1 Aftermath. The worst rated CNC expansion pack now is definitely going to be RA3 Uprising, However Bibber has released most of that Uprising content free (including source codes) to the public as a mod for RA3 (known as RA3 Upheaval) excluding the SP campaigns and Commander's Challenge, so that for the people who owns or not owns RA3 Uprising can play those Uprising content in the RA3 Upheaval mod.

 

My final verdict: RA3 Uprising is definitely worse than C&C4 imo. Sole Survivor remains the worst CNC game ever, unless C&C4 average ratings are under 60%.

However... this is incomplete because for some reason Tiberian Sun is conspicuously missing from Metacritic. (So is Sole Survivor but who cares? ) They only started reviewing expansions with YR as well. It also doesn't include any of the versions for mobile devices.

For an accurate poll its should have every C&C.

 

Personally I loved Uprising. It was great for what you got.

 

But at the end of the day, despite how much I dislike C&C4, Sole Survivor still reigns as the worst C&C of all time.

RA3 Uprising: The lack of multiplayer feature and not able to play with friends with the new units is a major turn off.

 

C&C4 Tiberian Twilight: The poor storyline, lack of explanation on too many stuff, poor single player campaign, lack of multiplayer mode features.

Personally, I disregard Generals as a C&C game. It is just another RTS game with the C&C logo slapped onto it by pure accident, or joke or, etc, or simply to boost market sales.

Neither am I. While I think they should have kept the "C&C" label off Generals, I like the game (more so Zero Hour).

Generals is more of a C&C game than Tiberian Twilight though... No storyline is better than a terribly executed one.

I liked Zero Hour more so than Generals it had more going for it. You can't fault ZH's multiplayer that **** was off the hook.

 

With the release of Tiberian Twilight, I think Generals and Zero Hour deserve the tittle of C&C must more than that of Tiberian Twilight. TT deserves death!

Of the C&C games I've played, I have found TW to be the worst. Perhaps because of my high expectations about it keeping the nostalgic feel and being even greater than TS.

TW wasn't even close to the worst C&C. It wasn't quite as good as Tiberian Sun and it had some things wrong, but it was still enough to be classed as C&C and at least fun online. RA3, while wacky, was also fun, even if the story was a little flimsy.

Your'e right, most newer C&C titles are absolutely mediocre. Especially with TW, there are tons of unexplained changes in form of style and visuals. Yes, it looks awesome, but not right at all.

In my eyes it's incomparable to TS's glory in every way.

I think C&C 3 was pretty ok apart from the non-cannon changes and the acting. RA3 and Uprising I think were a pretty good move for EALA they were both fun games to play once you got over the cheesiness. I haven't played C&C4 so no comment there.

C&C4 for me. The game played like a worse version of Dawn of War 2. The units did not look so polished no resource collecting, a unit cap on the amount of soldiers that you can produce, a story line that cannot stack up with previous Command and Conquer games. I know a lot of you dislike Generals but C&C4's gameplay made Generals look like a traditional C&C game.
