Sonic 295 Posted November 5, 2004 the "disk read error problem" is only happens the older versions of ps2's. they fixed the problem with the newest generations. I've seen the same stories floating around about similar problems with XBOX drives as well. An Xbox gamer in the US has sued Microsoft on behalf of all Xbox owners across the country over a failed disc drive in his machine. The suit, seeking damages, restitution and other costs, was filed last Wednesday and Microsoft says it is reviewing the complaint. The suit seeks to represent anyone who bought an Xbox since the console's November 2001 launch. Sean Burke said his console completely stopped reading discs of any type less than a year after he started using it. "The defective Xboxes stop working after minimal usage, after unreasonably, unconscionably, unusually and unexpectedly short amounts of time," the lawsuit said. Microsoft said in a statement, "We've designed and manufactured the Xbox with the highest quality standards and our customer satisfaction is very high." Share this post Link to post

Azrael 0 Posted December 21, 2004 Doom terrifies me totally. I am not scared when I play RE or SH4. It's because I LAUGH at zombies. For me, that kind of stuff isn't scary. I usually get scared of Demons. When I was a child, I used to get scared of X-Files. Not anymore. I instead laugh. Maybe some stuff just wears off as you get older. Share this post Link to post

Azrael 0 Posted December 21, 2004 Niiiiice. I think what they ment about artifact is the Soulcube. Description: Everytime you kill an enemy, the Soulcube gets alot more powerful. With enough power, the Soulcube can even destroy the most powerful of demons. It has to be fired. It's just like a special weapon. It RULES! Share this post Link to post
General immeyourenot 0 Posted December 21, 2004 Resi Evil definatly, none of the others have the UMPH effect. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted December 22, 2004 DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil Here is a link. Click........ Click........ More dark rooms and monster spawning out of nowhere again  Bah.... I'll probably end up buying it though. I never hated Doom 3, it just got a tad repetitive and the ending was a big let down. Share this post Link to post
Gazdude 0 Posted December 22, 2004 I thought Doom 3 kicked ass personally... But Silent Hill has to be the scariest most twisted game around... Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted December 22, 2004 It did get a bit repetitive, but it was a hell of a ride. I think everyone can admit that they jumped out of their chair at that one part in the bathroom near the beginning... you know, with the mirror? Share this post Link to post

Wildshield 0 Posted December 22, 2004 "D" (Dracula) would be my first horror game to play back in the PS one days. It's puzzles and simple yet errie 3-D images would be chilling to watch. But only a couple of months later RE came out and took a whole new way of survival horror. Yes, Silent Hill is Twisted to play and freakin hard as well. 7th guest and 11th hour for the PC were messed up. Along with their minigames and movies as well. They all have areas that just make you jump and freak out. But I would have to say RE would have to be the best with the layout, sounds, and situations. Share this post Link to post
Gazdude 0 Posted December 22, 2004 Yeah Nemesis was damn good... Veronica was the sickest though with torture and mutations and **** like that.. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 23, 2004 Sicne I don't have the damn PS2, I haven't played RE Veronica until RE4. I saw the trailer of RE4, and I think RE4 didn't look as good as the previous RE series. Why SH series only get 5 votes??? That's my favourite, a real horror game. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 23, 2004 Hmm... I might have to nick off and get that game. Haven't played it. I heard some people say it was crap. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 24, 2004 As far as I see, I saw no nemesis, no mr.X, no umbrella and it's laboratory. A year ago I heard that RE4 is the final version of RE series when all heroes from various RE series gathers to fight Umbrella corp, but now it's clear that the last version of RE is still long to wait.
