I see nothing in the video window in Mozilla... just plain black.

So yes, it is a top-notch XBox game. :D

You also forgot the nothing choice. Usually something like "I don't like stupid Xbox games" would be a good one. ;)

But seriously game doesn't look two bad.

Well download the Windows Media Player plug-in then, or click the "Launch Media Player" link.

It's just Unreal opn a console which will such 'cos there's no mouse of keyboard.

First Person Shooters don't work on on consoles. The controls are limited and its hard aim. I tried the XBox demo of Chronicle of Riddick yesterday, looks cool but so hard to control. I'm getting Halo 2 next month, I only hope it doesnt suffer from the same control limits as other games.

Anyone played Halo on Xbox before?

Yeah I hated it cos the controller's crap... and Halo sucked anyway for me... it wasn't anything special.. neither was unreal 2, but I found that more exciting.

Most consoles have USB ports.

They should include keyboard and mouse support. :haha: That would be funny if they did....

But yeah like you guys said Consoles aren't suited for FPS. Though they're good for pretty much every other game type.

Why is it that there are now two threads bitchin about consoles now? Did someone infect the forums with console feaver or something?

Only the PS2 has USB ports I think. I have the Dreamcast keyboard - that makes Quake 3 Arena much better to play.

I've played Halo a lot mainly in LAN games - it's too slow for me, I prefer Unreal Touny because it's much more frantic.

The controler ports on the xbox are infact usb ports MS just shape the port differently. If you splice together a usb mouse and a keyborad with a space xbox cable wire your are able to use them with any xbox software that suports them e.g linux (all be it you have to mod your xbox first).

Mouse and keyboard owns pad hands down with FPS`s but I prefer using the xbox controler with halo that the mouse and keyboard in the pc version mabey because im used to it.

As with getting Halo 2 ive already preordered it but with half-life 2 posibly coming out at the same time it be a nightmare to choose which to play.

You will have a few weeks between each game. Current release dates are as follows....

Halo 2 (XBox) - 9th November

Half-Life 2 - 23rd November

The thing is they haven't announced Half-Life 2 as going gold yet

EDIT: Half-Life 2 - 23rd November, the correct date. I had the wrong month before  )

I prefer an FPS on a console to the PC. I like controllers more than I do the keyboard. Aiming is just fine for the most part. Bah, maybe I have skills. ;)
