Throwback Thursday this week remembers McBurger Kong in Red Alert 2 from 2000. McBurger Kong is of course a parody of the real life fast food franchises McDonald's and Burger King. The "Kong" in its name is a reference to King Kong. Allied and Soviet infantry were known to often stop off at a McBurger Kong. And by that, it means infantry could be garrisoned inside these restaurants. Some interesting facts, if the McBurger Kong is damaged enough, the gorilla on the roof will suddenly change his pose. Destroying the McBurger Kong will cause it to explode similarly to the V3 Rocket Launcher's supply block of rockets.
