What game did you finish despite hating every minute of it?

Recommended Posts

Here's another discussion thread based on PC Gamer's recent Q&A article.

For mine, well there are lots of games with terrible looks and values and "what the hell" moments but I picked the worst two. The two games I hated every minute of it despite finishing them are Red Alert 3 Uprising and C&C4 Tiberian Twilight. Both are flawed in such terrible ways.... cartoonish style graphics, gameplay, decent story, rushed development, poor value, and missing other  features that should have been there.

  • Faerie Solitaire
  • Fortix and Forix 2
  • C&C4

What an odd concept. I don't keep playing games I don't enjoy.

I gave TT's campaign a chance, it wasn't fun at all, so I quit after a few missions and never went back.

You certainly didn't miss out on the story and cut scenes. Dear god.

I was interested at the story. And yes, I was definitely disappointed with that.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is the closest thing to that description for me. However, it's only a 3-hour game tops, and I was in it just for the storyline, then started appreciating the rest of the series even more.
