Hey, since all of us have C&C games, We should all pick a game and arrange a group online game... TS, RA2, Renegade, Generals, something. Sound like a good idea?

Everyone post the C&C games they have that came after TS, including TS. We need to find a game most people have. I have TS, Firestorm, RA2, Yuri, Renegade, Gen., ZH.

 

First we pick a game, than a server, then date, then time during day, then type of gameplay.

Except that half of us live in NZ, half in the states, and half everywhere else, time could be a problem.

US, Netherlands, UK. I think they're bout the main places people are from here. So yeah timing is going to be a bitch.

well, i can play during the entire day. To get a sense of things, If it is 6pm or 18hrs in New York, what time would it be at your place? I can play throught out the day on weekends, so timing not really a problem for me

 

I think Europe is ~6hrs after States, and NZ is ~12 hrs. ahead. So we could have a states NZ games, states Europe game, and NZ Europe game, or all three, or even intercountry like states game etc.

 

For US NZ game, i guess 10pm or am would be okay, in NZ the time would be 10 opposite. 10am here = ~10pm NZ. For US Europe game, 3pm here = ~9pm Europe. Also 3pm Europ=~9pm NZ.

 

I was thinking Renegade, since it can hold more than 8 players

I would like to wait until I get my broadband in a week or two though. Plus we all need to agree on a decent time to match everyone's time zone.

Myself and chickendippers have got the same speed cable connection. Plus I've just got a letter in the post that our 750kb connection has been upgraded to a 2Mbit connection

 

If anyone can beat that speed that then they can host it...

I dont have Renegade either, and I'm on wireless adapter (I know, notebook *shudder* its deffinetly not the best) and I have crappy wireless phones that screw up connection, but when I get better phones, you ALL WILL GO DOWN in any game but Renegade. Or at least I'll take some of you down with me

I rule at Renegade, Probably be a bit rusty now the old Renegade Alert has stopped.. Gotta re-install it if we decide Renegade. But I used to play the game a good 6 hours solid everyday. So the instinctiveness will come flooding back I'm sure.

Remember when we were running the Confederacy clan together?

 

My god we had a team of misfits. Us 2 were the only one's who were good at anything! ahhh those were the days. But since then I've been a mercenary for clans all over the community. Playing matches to improve rank.

 

But I've never gone to the stage where I'd join a clan again. I'll Merc for them, but although I've been asked to join countless Renegade clans, but I never will after the experience of the Chaos Confederacy.

 

It wasn't the bother of having to run it. It was staying up at 2am to fight when I had work at 7am the next morning. That's why. :roll:

Yeah I remeber the time that we both stayed of to about 4:30am to play the aircraft mod before they were officialy added to the game. It still hard to beleive the we used to update that site in the early hours of the morning.
