i think we have some kind of "border patrol" by the tunnel an stuff... yah normally tends to be three guys in orange macs going "go through go through! free houses, credit cards and cars this way! all refugees welcome, british holiday makers will be stopped and searched"

something like 200,000 refugees get in the UK per year (over 2k of them suspected terrorist links) and yet for some reason my school class bus gets stopped when returning from france o_O hmm...

well the main increase was when all the Iraq/Afghanistan stuff started. All the civvies heard that they could get free housing and medical care here. sounds perfect for only the price of sneaking your family through a few countries... well, simple after you've been living in a warzone anyway.

It's just the fact that France doesn't keep the refugees... they literally pass them straight through from surrounding countries to us... ¬_¬;

Well I've never had any problems going to any country. America is the worst place to get into - we've had to wait about 2 hours to get through imigaration before they're so damn slow!

The worst place i've been to for border control is Saudi Arabia. takes forever to get past immigration control.

hehe i remember at the disney world in florida i brought this blatently fake pirate type gun thing. looked like an old short-hand musket y'know? simple wooden handle and stock with a metal tube and a big-ass red stopper on the end. it went click if you pulled the trigger... i got stopped by a police officer there for carrying it, yet i got away with carrying a fully-scaled toy rifle which looked real (and was technically illegal because it had no red/black warning things on it saying it was a toy) lol

Most of the americans i chat to utterly hate them because they steal all the jobs, but i'm never sure if they are exaggerating or not (we have the same immigration problems, but they don't steal our jobs... they just get free housing and medical care then go on benifits)

Yeah, it is a definite crisis. They come across the borders and offer very, very cheap labor, but that is only the surface layer of a much larger problem. They also get free health care, collect social security (I'm sure you've heard about our social security problems), and they commit a lot of crime, causing our packed prisons to swell even further, at more and more cost to the tax payers (stats here people, not racism :roll:). The fact is that they are causing a massive amount of economic damage, as well as causing a huge gap in our security. They have nearly ruined southern California (I'm flying out there tomorrow, actually), and they are continuing to pour in. Here in Orlando, the Mexican population is beginning to spike, and it scares me to death. I'm already seeing the tell-tale graffiti all over the place... :roll:

at least with the mexicans they are willing to work for cheap so it's a minor bonus to having them there...

most of the people we have coming in are simply escaping warzones and don't speak english... they either live off benifits or get involved in crime : if you go down to london (i used to live in north london and have experienced this first-hand) they have groups of 10 - 20 middle-easterner's clutching bags of fake cigerettes... when you walk by then crowd around you, stuff a couple of packs in your bag then demand money. Or plain yell at you, or even mug you, claiming that you tried to steal the ciggies. sure, they are selling like, 5 packs for £2.50 so it sounds like a good deal... however they are fake cigerettes. they look the same as real brands but the toxin count is far higher then is legal (for anyone that doubts me there, it was on Watchdog a couple of weeks back)

The one's that actually want to get real jobs but speak little english normally end up standing on street corners selling The Big Issue...

Don't get me wrong, not all the immigrants are bad. i mean we NEED the polish (and other countries near there) doctors/nurses real bad...

 

But working with the statistics it's just too many negatives to keep pulling off...

I personally know a lot more about american life then most Brits as i practically live online, constantly chatting to americans just kinda figured it couldn't hurt to learn about the current political issues rather then just by word of mouth from biased friends ^^

and the mexicans moving in technically arent citizens and arent dealing with increased taxes to pay for their welfare, meanwhile they take jobs thus meaning that tax payers get less income, but taxes get raised to cover for them.

 

And the border terrirtoy is so hard to keep 100% secure because of terrain and foliage

Bush can't say JACK about his border security. almost all of them come through the tunnel. all he has to do is set up strong patrols there and it stops... but the more refugee's we accept, the more credit we get with the EU. so the more Blair lets it happen... He's doing us over for money and political links :
