Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 14, 2005 well now, the bible does predict all manner of famines and natural disasters and civil unrest before the second coming of Christ. and if you've ever read The Nostradamus Code kinda scarry aint it. an old prophet whose writtings have so far predictied all of history. Acerz492 1 Posted October 14, 2005 well now, the bible does predict all manner of famines and natural disasters and civil unrest before the second coming of Christ. Wasn't it you who said that the Book of Revelations is like the whole of the Old Testament (i.e. full of bollocks)? If it wasn't, then let me be the one to say it: The Book of Revelations is full of bollocks. and if you've ever read The Nostradamus Code kinda scarry aint it. an old prophet whose writtings have so far predictied all of history. Like Hitler, Atomic weaponry, even Sept 11th. Ragh, I knew Nostrodamus would crop up sooner or later. Convincing he may be but there is absolutly -no- way to properly predict the future when it hasn't happened. Those predictions he made are subject to interpretation. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted October 14, 2005 <1>Yes, I am saying Satanism is bad  He rebelled against God You show your true ignorance with this statement. Read this. It's about spiritual advancement of the self, not worshipping Satan like you do God. ****ing dolt. well now, the bible does predict all manner of famines and natural disasters and civil unrest before the second coming of Christ. No. It. Does. Not. Anywhere. The Bible tells of the Four Horsemen that bring upon the 'destruction' of the non-believers. Goddamn people these days. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 14, 2005 No. It. Does. Not. Anywhere. The Bible tells of the Four Horsemen that bring upon the 'destruction' of the non-believers. Goddamn people these days. And... does anyone use horses these days? Plus, do you know how long it would take to get a horse all the way around the world to kill the 2 thirds of people who don't worship Christ? Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted October 14, 2005 Oh for the love of all things holy... The Four Horsemen represent the ways in which the non-believers will perish. If I recall right, it's death, famine, anti-christ and disease/war. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 14, 2005 Aw... now I feel like such an idiot.... Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 15, 2005 Oh for the love of all things holy... The Four Horsemen represent the ways in which the non-believers will perish. If I recall right, it's death, famine, anti-christ and disease/war. therefor predicting all kinds of famines and wars and stuff that kill a bunch of people before the second coming of Christ. Guest MadBadger Posted October 15, 2005 Aw... now I feel like such an idiot.... thpught that was normal.... (ohh come on you cant leave that open for me ) and i belive its Plague, Famine, AC, Disease/war.... as you have to die in order to.... die. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted October 15, 2005 therefor predicting all kinds of famines and wars and stuff that kill a bunch of people before the second coming of Christ. A generalization is not a prediction. It never says how we will die, just that it would happen. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 15, 2005 well, the point being, we (or most of us anyway) will die of something other than natural causes (unlessthat included famine, plagues, natural disasters ect) and it will be in massive numbers, and it will be shortly before the coming of Christ Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 15, 2005 Well, so far, what you say has been happening, hasn't killed us in massive numbers. A couple thousand people isn't much. Plus: The Four Horsemen represent the ways in which the non-believers will perish. How many in New Orleans worshipped god? I'm sure there were some, yet they perish? I'm sure people in the palestinian earthquake believe in god. Think about it, we've had more people die in world war 1 alone than all of this. And we were killing each other. Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 15, 2005 ww1 was a lot but each year more people i nthe US die in accidents and such than were killed in WW2 and these disasters will be gin to add up especially if we see another New Orleans situation take place Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 16, 2005 We also have more people coming into the US, so it makes sence... Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 16, 2005 I meant mroe of a disaster hits an area, then anarchy ensues that will kill more than the disaster itself in most cases Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted October 16, 2005 Disasters kill fewer people than you actually think. While some are particularly devastating, Asian tsunami for example, most are pretty weak in terms of lives lost during and after the disaster. The biggest disaster of all though? Religion. More people die from religious war and religious disgreement than for any other reason. History teaches that lesson all too well. Some of the most violent, brutal wars have been carried out because God told em it was a good idea. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted October 16, 2005 ...... well all thoese were a few thousand butt spread out over a large area.... 9/11 anyone? that is the worse 'disaster' in recent times. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 16, 2005 It wasn't a disaster. It was a tragedy. There is a moral difference between the two. Share this post Link to post
