chickendippers 1 Posted September 13, 2005 If you take a look at CnCWorld and scroll down a bit to my "EA Command & Conquer Survey Email" post you'll see some interesting news about a survey I recieved from EA. It starts off as a general "what do you think of C&C" survey, and then..................you'll have to read my post to find out! It's very interesting I think; Renegade 2 a possibility? Luk3us 63 Posted September 14, 2005 Hmm... Could be the beginning of better things... Renegade 2 would be awesome... Specially if they got some guys from BF2 on it... Ownage.. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 14, 2005 yup. Maybe Tiberian Conintuum ?? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 14, 2005 Naa.. FPS are more "fun" than RPG... Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted September 14, 2005 Definatly..but little can beat rolling into an opponent's base with 50 or so Emporer Tanks, backed up by MiGs and a few Helixes as support...and if your forces still managed to get trampled? A well-placed Nuke can work wonders... But that sounds quite interesting...here's hoping EA will be responsive to growing demands... Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted September 14, 2005 I was thinking about this when over at the community summit actually.. Since the medal of Honour and C&C teams are both at EALA, wouldn't it be cool to see Renegade 2 running under one of the MoH Engines.... The guys at EALA seemed to have dropped the hint that there are 2 C&C titles in the works Renegade 2 would be awesome... Specially if they got some guys from BF2 on it... Ownage.. I doubt it would be the battlefield engine since BF2 was created at another studio, my money is on a MoH Engine due to the reasons I stated above. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 14, 2005 2 C&C titles... That would be a nice annoucement to hear.. I doubt it would be the battlefield engine since BF2 was created at another studio, my money is on a MoH Engine due to the reasons I stated above. I can live in hope... It just I've never really liked Medal of Honour... Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted September 14, 2005 MOH is awseome...at least it was before EA turned it into one of it's hores. Share this post Link to post
Gazdude 0 Posted September 14, 2005 Day of Defeat: Source is gonna own MOH so hard... Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted September 14, 2005 Intresting. Ya I bet there are C&C games that are in full production since all the pressure from the community and the 10th. I hope EA can really do good with C&C. Renegade 2 would be sweet since I am currently addicted to Renegade 1. But I am hoping for more of C&C RA3 or C&C TT..... I have always loved controlling the whole battle field, maybe they could create a RA Renegade thing.... Where they release RA3 then release a FPS for RA3 where you can be Tanya or something.... and the Soviets could have Volkov or something.... Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 14, 2005 Naa.. FPS are more "fun" than RPG... Tiberian Continuum was supposed to be an FPS of TS-TT era Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted September 15, 2005 Cygnus your information is wrong, did you not read our interview with Adam Isgreen? Continuum was going to be an MMORPG...... Continuum was a MMORPG for people that didn't like MMORPGs (i.e. stand there and swing). [*]"C&C meets Zelda meets Counterstrike" - that was the pitch line I always used. C&C universe, Zelda-like controls, Counterstrike style tactical combat. [*]Had instanced "crisis zones" in it (this was EQ1 era, remember), hubbed flight routes, scripted boss battles, and a lot of other ideas that have shown up in all the MMORPG since. I guess they were good ideas! [*]Set in the Tiberian future, with GDI, Nod, Mutants and CABAL. Scrin to be added later. We had Los Angeles half underwater, Area 51, Dino island, Newark airport a mutant city, etc. [*]Combat was much more fluid and movement-oriented than most MMORPGs. Range was important for weapons use, and there were layers of counters for the weapon types. [*]Creatures had many console-game-boss sensibilities, in that you could expose weaknesses on them and then hit those for extra damage. Share this post Link to post

Guest MadBadger Posted September 15, 2005 BF2 engine..... buggy piece of **** naa the MOH engines sound just a few things about surfaces i think that need to be worked on. but Renigade 2 would own..... i love placing nukes in renigade and wiping out mamy/apc rushes but i want RA3 gdamn it Share this post Link to post
Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted September 15, 2005 We all want RA3, but I'm curious about what happens with Kane and the Tiberium storyline more than I am with how the soviets are going to stab the allies in the back this time. Share this post Link to post
