The threat is that there's now a security flaw... not something that manifests itself instantly in a hack. Those infected could be hacked at any point from now on.... and there's your reason to be pissed :wink:

I considered buying it, but then I played it... I dunno, gaming on my pc is still so much sharper, and there isn't really a great game out for it. Also, with the exception of Perfect Dark Zero, prospects of a killer app are looking pretty shaky. Plus there are ALL those issues with defective units.... seriously, they really rushed this thing to market. Many won't even boot. I'm still looking forward to the PS3

Reports of the XBox 360's problem are isolated incidents. Like a PC the actual console needs ventilation, these people are probably haven't place the console in a well ventilated area or something.

 

I don't really care though because by the time it arrives in NZ (the PAL version) these problems if they are wide spread will be fixed. And there will be lots more games to choose from. One that will be on my shopping list even though I already have it on Xbox, NBA Live 06....

Looks like a remote control & has a bunch of attatchments.

 

It'll have a bunch of motion sensitive applications too. There is a review of all 3 major systems & their titles in this month's issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly.

What bothers me is the fact that some people fail to realise that the XBox is just an overly-hyped computer. What's the point in getting one when you may already have a decent computer? Pointless! :roll:
