I haven't been able to play Renegade for the last few days, to busy. I get back to it when I can.

i see people using the extras quantifigon cheat to become mutants in online play. Is that allowed? if it is, i would occasionally be a templar, and not not worry about being kicked. I was made a temporary moderator for several games. is it okay to kick them if they're using it?

If you don't want people using it, disable it - simple!

If it's not disabled on the server you can't kick people for using it.

What's wrong with picking mutations? It's not like they're too powerful and would unbalance the game or something. That's exactly why I don't understand people hate "cheating". Since cheating for me is getting extra weapons, infinite life, etc. But that's not in Renegade. It simply unlocks new characters. :roll:

mutations are unfair. i was a patch, and got killed by an acolyte, which is cheaper, cause he kept on damn healing on the tiberium. i got pissed, and ran him over with an apc

I don't quite agree with you. They have no armour, making them an easy target for snipers. And of course, as you already mentioned, vehicles.

Templar sure is the best mutation 8).

sure, sniping's a 1 shot kill, but u have to hit them first, which can be quite hard if u know ur there and keep jumping around. as with vehicle, any vehicle could take them out, except buggy or humvee maybe, but they're more expensive. I'm saying that they have an unfair unadvantage over normal infanty, often cheaper than guy they kill.

 

what is really good, but i hate, is the templar with the volt auto rifle, u ever seen these? not only do they have armour and tib heal, they also pack a punch

Then look at as a chalenge. Some characters are gona have better stats than others, but in the end, it all depends on the player. I dont have Renegade myself, but I wil get it eventually.

Yes Templar may be good but they cost about as much as a black hand, and ANY black hand can take ANY mutation out with ease. EVEN in tiberium fields, since they lack armor and heal slowly.

In single player, yes.

 

In multiplayer, no. You can only pick up spawn wepaons. Really cool when you're the stealth black hand and you pick up a sniper rifle 8)

actually, u can pick up health and armour depending on the map though, man, i was hooked on renegade recenlty but i seem to have gon of it to play counter strike source. i shud really play it again.

I like rock of all types luk3us... bands like Zao, Underoath, Dead Poetic, the Agony Scene, etc, while Christian, write some of the deepest and most powerful music you will ever hear. They actually aren't even "Christian rock bands." They just happen to be Christian.

 

And may I ask a question? Why don't you "usually like" religious symbols? That seems a bit irrational...
