I am not as big an expert on America politics as I am perhaps of my own country's. Schwarzenegger? I know he is ineligiable, but who else? Kerry again? Dean? But you are right, everybody would stay home on election day with the current prospects.

We need a leader who is strong, doenst bow down to political or civil pressure, has a really good sense of economics, military, and civil rest/unrest, can speak well (no more nucuclar threats now) and one who could care less about democraps vs republicants.

He is firm in his beliefs and he doesn't always listen to his party... I might be mistaken him for another guy, but I've read a lot about him, and don't find anything disturbing.

 

Also saw the movie about him in Vietnam and read-up about it, come on. :roll:

Trust me, you're preaching to the choir here, buddy. There's no question that he's a hero, and really an incredible man in many ways, but does this make him a good potential president? The two don't equate. The fact that he's a war hero is pretty irrelevant, especially when compared to the problems he has. Those include his firm belief IN global warming (:roll:), his Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act, his leadership in the Gang of 14 Deal (which was a mess), his voting against the Federal Marriage Amendment, his push for granting amnesty to illegals, and, over all, his fairly liberal views on fiscal policy. The man has also done a lot of good, but I really wouldn't want him running the country.

From what i have read elsewhere he seems to be a good choice for president. Despite a few minor things in his policy that im not sure about i would vote for him. Then again im not an american so i look at the options differently to what you guys would.
