TheBlackOut 7 Posted June 14, 2006 Duke Nukem got a deadline now, December 31, 2006. The parent company gave them some money and basically said, "Finish it, or your balls are mine". No offence, but where did you get that? http://pc.ign.com/articles/712/712012p1.html Took some Googling. Ain't like they will, but if they make it by then, they get money, so they will... Hopefully. Edit: Yah, its different from what I said, I read a different article about it and I thought thats what they said, but I trust IGN more. Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted June 14, 2006 It better be an RTS. An FPS would just be gay especially for a sequel to a RTS game... Hahaha, well... http://wow.tentonhammer.com/index.php?name...le&sid=1864 Sorry to dissapoint ya'll. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted June 14, 2006 ... Doesn't mean it can't be a MMORTS now does it? Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted June 15, 2006 so much for Blizzard not in it solely for the money Sounds like were just gonna get lots of WOW clones Share this post Link to post
Riparius 0 Posted June 15, 2006 "All Blizzard franchises will become MMOGs." Okay, I understand if they make one of Diablo, but SC....now that's gay.... Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted June 15, 2006 Here's the site the one Acerz showed us linked to : F13.net  This SUCKS Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 15, 2006 Diablo, that I get. D2's best feature was multiplayer and they're just expanding the experience. Not a bad thing. StarCraft going MMORPG is just gay. I want a goddamn RTS! An MMORPG is fine but if it's the sequel, I'm totally not buying it. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted June 16, 2006 http://www.gamespot.com/news/6152718.html An update, it appears, that the rumor, is not entirely acurrate... Only that there is the possiblity of them making Diablo and Starcraft into MMOG's... Possiblity..... Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted June 16, 2006 That makes baby Jesus cry. He can cry me a river, for all I care. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted June 17, 2006 *drops bombshell* And why does SC have built in cheats........ C&C > SC Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted June 17, 2006 It's 4 VS 13 now Diablo, that I get. D2's best feature was multiplayer and they're just expanding the experience. Not a bad thing.StarCraft going MMORPG is just gay. I want a goddamn RTS! An MMORPG is fine but if it's the sequel, I'm totally not buying it. What??? MMORPG???? StarCraft???? That's kind of stupid. I like RPG based games, but I don't think that StarCraft is suitable for RPG. And why does SC have built in cheats........ Razz C&C > SC Well it's to help some dumbass who can't finish the game. But, enabling the cheat in skirmish mode is kind of unnecessary. Only that there is the possiblity of them making Diablo and Starcraft into MMOG's... Possiblity..... What's MMOG? Never heard of it before. Share this post Link to post

But, enabling the cheat in skirmish mode is kind of unnecessary. Well I figured the obvious....but C&C has no need for built in cheats. Even for dumbasses. There are enough real fans so that cheats are not needed. Oh and Tiberium ftw 8) Share this post Link to post
Renegangsta 0 Posted June 17, 2006 Cee an ceea!! and and AND GRAND THEFT AUTO Yeah Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 17, 2006 *drops bombshell* And why does SC have built in cheats........ C&C > SC Why? Blizzard kicks ass. That's why. StarCraft is actually really hard, especially on later missions. TD and RA don't even come close. SC takes real skill, not just mass a bunch of tanks. Share this post Link to post
Thierry 0 Posted June 17, 2006 I'll nuke anything my tanks can't crush, ftw Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted June 18, 2006 SC takes real skill, not just mass a bunch of tanks. Zerg rush anyone? Share this post Link to post
Azrael 0 Posted June 18, 2006 Yeah, and there's a limit to the units you can make, and certain combinations of units are needed to effectively take out an enemy, not just a rush... So SC has emphasis on tactics, unlike in most of the C&C games (old ones) wherein a good rush of one type or two types of units can get you a quick victory, which dosen't need tactics to execute... Alphabear 11 Posted June 18, 2006 still fully upgraded zerg rushes are damm annoying to counter especially with their production speed. And almost everyone used to do them Share this post Link to post
