PurpleGaga27 40 Posted April 5, 2015 (edited) Someone should have told me about this earlier until I noticed this: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Downloadable_content_%28Origins%29 All of their DLC (including the unofficial non-free ones) is free to download from the Dragon Age Wiki site (with download links provided!!!) and they are automatically activated without authorization as of patch 1.05 changes from Dragon Age: Origins. It's no wonder that Dragon Age: Origins was probably the best promotional free game I had ever played since Metro 2033. Something tells me that Bioware is unaware of this because their official site is still selling those DLCs for a cost. Edited April 5, 2015 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post

AZ-Stalker 88 Posted April 5, 2015 Currently playing PsiOps - The Mindgate Conspiracy. A very fun oldie with some then-unique mechanics! Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted April 7, 2015 I finally started to know playing YugiOh Pro (aka YGOPRO), probably one of the best free open-source games on the PC so far, because it has all access to past and recent cards, including the anime cards, unlike what 99% of all other YugiOh games don't have. Also it has an AI bot to duel with (using any deck you created plus available created AI decks) and offline LAN so you can duel yourself with two experimental decks. It's basically a free-for-all game with unlimited customization. No other YugiOh game by Konami would do anything like this, even for the PC. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted April 15, 2015 Currently playing... GTA V 1080p 60FPS. :D Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted April 15, 2015 Anyone playing the GTA V PC version with a Geforce GTX 980 card shouldn't have any lag issues at all (even at 2160p resolution). And now I heard of reviews about a 5 GB patch on the first day of release!! Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted April 30, 2015 Playing GTA V. Runs really sweet on my machine, gotta use a PS3 controller though, you don't play these types of games on keyboard, imo. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted May 17, 2015 I play GTA5 with my keyboard and mouse. I just avoid flying. xD Anyhow, been playing GTA5 online with a few mates, played some Battlefield Hardline (fun game honestly) and bounced around with MW2, BO1 and BO2 online. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted May 18, 2015 The Witcher 3 is pre-loaded and ready to go in about, 13 hours? Tomorrow is going to be awesomesauce. Share this post Link to post
AZ-Stalker 88 Posted May 18, 2015 The Witcher 3 is pre-loaded and ready to go in about, 13 hours? Tomorrow is going to be awesomesauce. I hope you have a backed up save game that went through the first two games for your in game choices to be carried over to W3. If not, you're a Witcher series newbie. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted May 24, 2015 I played the original Witcher way back in the day but naturally lost my save file. I was able to download one with similar choices to mine back when the witcher 2 came out. So close enough. As for the witcher 3, I've put about twenty hours into it thus far, it really feels like a massive game, a lot of dialogue and quests that are actually interesting. Share this post Link to post
AZ-Stalker 88 Posted May 24, 2015 Good to hear! I can't run it yet due to my PC barely being able to handle Witcher 2 on low-medium settings, but I'm looking forward to it once I upgrade everything. Share this post Link to post

Luk3us 63 Posted June 4, 2015 Red Alert 2, a game so old I have to use discs to play it. Playing Witcher 3 at the moment, big game. Share this post Link to post

Luk3us 63 Posted July 18, 2015 Since last I posted in this thread, I've finished the Witcher 3, it took about 126 hours to complete one run through. Haven't played much since. I've bought Metal Gear Ground Zeros though, when it was on sale. So we'll see if that is any good. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted July 18, 2015 Haven't played much since. I've bought Metal Gear Ground Zeros though, when it was on sale. So we'll see if that is any good. Hope you didn't pay that much for it. There is like 60 minutes of gameplay or something. It can be finished in probably half that time. Its really just a glorified tech demo for The Phantom Pain. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted July 19, 2015 $6 bucks. So if it lasts an hour, its like $1 for every ten minutes. haha. Share this post Link to post
AZ-Stalker 88 Posted July 19, 2015 I don't like how a lot of people are jumping into the MGS series at its very end (not speaking chronologically story-wise). Not talking about you guys directly, but most people missed out on a lot and don't care and/or know as much about the characters as they should by now. I still play through the old Metal Gear Solid (Integral) from the PlayStation 1 days once every few years. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted July 31, 2015 I agree, people should really play from the start of the series... That being said some games are so old its not funny. Whilst I loved Meta Gear Solid when it first came out on PS1, there is no way in hell I'd go play it now. Its just too old now. I would totally play an HD remake, which there are at least two, so.... Bad example I guess. In other news I am about to play, Blues and Bullets, its a story game. With creepness, apparently. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted September 2, 2015 Been playing the original Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (for my first time) on the N64 emulator (don't ask about it). The former best game of all time (before Half-Life, Super Mario Galaxy and GTA IV and V), had difficult complex controls on a joystick controller but it's far better playing on the PC thanks to the simplified keyboard controls. Had it been a PC game, it would have been the best PC game of all time. Share this post Link to post
