GDI commando

Recommended Posts

No, it was a crap spin off that plays no reference to C&C Canon.

I f you want my opinion. EA should create a sequal to Red Alert 2, BUT it should not connect up with the Tiberian Storyline. I will be seriously unforgiving to EA for doing such a thing.

The only time I'm up for EA milking the C&C cash cow will be if they create a game under a different name to bridge the gap between Red Alert and Tiberian Dawn. Although it would be a tough cookie to do so, since Westwood made clear that there were no major conflicts during the 2 wars.

Hehe... it could be a sim city game! No tanks, but blueprints and water mains! That would be a fun C&C game! :P

The commandos should be able to do more and have that kind of versitility. If he's kitted out with C4, sniper rifle and a side arm, plus have the ability to call in some artilery or something that'll do nicely.

RA2, Yuri and all that it all fits. Remember our Petroglyph interviews. To quote Adam Isgreen:

2) Do you favour the original C&C storyline or the Red Alert universe?

I love them both, but I love where we went with the RA universe slightly more. They (were) always planned to be one continuous universe! Someday maybe I'll have the gumption to explain how they tied back into each other. It was pretty cool, if I do say so myself. Yuri fit and everything!

Well I dont know if its a good idea that the universes become linked again. However, It would be cool have a skirmish with all sides involved: GDI vs NOD vs Scrin vs Soviets vs Allies vs Yuri. An all out cage-match.

Just as long as tiberium and human/tank harvesting (Yuri) are the primary bases of income in the game and that people die in tiberium, unlike some mods we have seen in the past where people just walk over the tiberium and no health is deducted.

I know that modding is challenging, but sometimes it gets aggravating (No Offense Intended).

By the way, here is the cyber-Sakura that i promised to draw. It kinda explains what happened to Havok and Sakura. Hope you like it.

Yes: Havok is handicapped.

Yes: The drawing is tilted.

Maybe. I dont know much about the NOD's but didnt they say they had a female commando? :?

It would be cool to see GDI and NOD's commando/hero unit in a love/hate/kill relationship just like we saw in Renegade.

But anyway: I dont care. Just as long as the hero units are fulfilling to the gameplay and have a mixture of the special abilities that we have seen in ALL C&C games.

The Back Hand Commando who carries a flamethrower and can be upgraded to carry other weapons. That's what I heard.

they need to join the RA and C&C universes, i felt that RA2 should have made more scence instead of what they created, which was rubbish really but i think GDI should get the Female Commando.
