I went the full hog a few Halloweens ago and dressed up as a goth. Then a carefully selected an a rather large intimidating axe from my collection of blade weapons, spread some fake blood over my face and hands and waited for kids to come to the door while keenly fondling the axe. Installing a red light bulb on the automatic outdoor light made all the difference when they came to the door, that would crap em up to start with. Then when I opened the door I spoke in a psychotic voice..... "Ahhh Children, I belive you are next! Mwahahaha".... And they ran off scared! Haven't had annoying kids at my door for 3 years now, and I expect that trend to continue. Share this post Link to post

There was a huge anthrax scare a few years back, I don't know if that was just in the US, or if it was everywhere, but the two halloweens around then, I was handing out powdered doughnuts. ...nobody got it. They were all just, "Oh gimme gimme gimme!!!!" Same with the whole cyanide in the tylenol scare. That happened so I decided to hand out these pill shaped sweet tart things. Didn't have much of an effect, but, it still went with my tradition... Unfortunately, that won't work this year, unless I just start handing out bombs to all the children. rEdaSbLood 1 Posted October 29, 2006 well, i think you guys should cheer up and get into the holiday spiriit..even if you do it like King and scare all the children away..thats still in spirit. im going to be working till 8pm on tuesday night and probably go out and have a few drinks...then the following saturday i will be having a party.. my costume is pretty good i guess, im going to be an escaped prisoner..with broken chains on my wrists and ankles..i have the whole black and white stripe thing going and im goin to wear a hoody under it to give it a more 70's jailbreak style...like dirty harry...something like that..maybe a Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 30, 2006 I had an excellent costume a few years back (down to the AK-ish capgun with Duct-tape magazines) for an RA2 Soviet Conscript. Even had the mask. Of course, most of that stuff doesnt fit me now, and I no longer have the gun. But it was cool. Even had red epaluets and a Hammer & Sickle pin on the collar. Share this post Link to post

Ya spend the last 3 months saving up, just to blow it all on people who really think the stuff you get em is crap, even if it's what they wanted. You go round to people's houses you never set foot in 364 other days of the year. You eat, eat, and eat some more and get fat, and you feel older realising that you ain't that kid anymore who used to like Christmas for the receiving. Giving never came into the question back then. And indeed Christmas is a cash in for that vague chore of Christmas shopping, putting up decorations, and wishing that the fat bastard was real this year so you could mug him for a Playstation 3 Share this post Link to post
