vyper 0 Posted October 29, 2006 just heard the Nod track .. kind of annoying/amateur .. cant be official , whoever said so was playing around i guess Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted October 29, 2006 The music will be done probably just after Christmas, not a moment before. The soundtracks are one of the last things to be done within the development process of games. Share this post Link to post
vyper 0 Posted October 30, 2006 yeah. this link was posted by someone on gamespot - some overenthusiastic kid maybe.... but soundtracks arnt neccesarily done at the end, i mean , some prince of persia warrior withihn music tracks were realeased pretty early to create hype....that said C&C has enough of that. I can assure you that these tracks are by no means official tracks that will be in C&C 3. Share this post Link to post
Mario 0 Posted October 30, 2006 The music will be done probably just after Christmas, not a moment before. The soundtracks are one of the last things to be done within the development process of games. No doubt because they take the least amount of time to do compared to everything else Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 31, 2006 Nah, the way EA is going, it will take them several weeks, er... months, just to do a couple songs. Share this post Link to post
Woofna 0 Posted November 1, 2006 In every single CNC3 trailer/teaser/videoofanykind I have seen so far, the music has been Stomp by Klepacki. I think Stomp was made during CNC Tiberian Sun and used in Renegade. Share this post Link to post
cnc_sage 0 Posted November 2, 2006 They didn't use just Stomp. They also used Warfare(TD), On your feet(Ren) , Approach(TS) and others that I can't remember right now. Share this post Link to post
Mario 0 Posted November 2, 2006 well longs the music is good like Hell March and No Mercy then i'll be happy Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted November 3, 2006 I wouldn't count on the soundtrack being nearly as great as Klepacki's work. While it may be good, I can almost say that the soundtrack certainly won't be anywhere near as memorable. Share this post Link to post
Mario 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Frank isnt working on the music? then it wont be good Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted November 3, 2006 i agree with that i think that the ost will be really dull you can not immatate music like that, heaps of people have tried and failed miserably. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted November 3, 2006 I doubt they'll try to imitate Frank's work. They'll put their own apocalyptic spin on it no doubt, and try to create atmosphere within the game. But let's be honest here. Generals soundtrack was poor. The main track was somewhat good, but lacked finesse, the rest was just mind numbingly dull. As for the BfME soundtracks, it was more of the same really. The majority (if not all) of it was taken direct from the movies. If there was any original material within the game, I certainly couldn't pick it out as a great piece of work. So we move onto C&C 3. Dangerously into new territory here without a doubt. To create anything fresh and memorable will be a challenge. And I'm almost certain 100% that this game's soundtrack will not be a classic by any stretch of the imagination. Probably Good, but based on EA's current RTS track record, far from great. Share this post Link to post
TheRoadToDawn 0 Posted November 23, 2006 I understand that EA is too chicken (I want 2 say somethin else) to admit it, but they need Frank. Nuff said. Share this post Link to post
