See, that's what I don't get.....Blizzard has the fanstasy aspect covered. If people want to command tanks and planes, they play C&C. If they want to play with trolls, orcs, and spells, they play Warcraft. Stick to what your good at..... :shock:

Yeah Blizzard have this covered as you say....but EA wants in :wink:

 

Just because they announced this LOTR RTS doesn't mean they are dropping C&C. EA would be stupid to forget about a popular franchise such as C&C.

Zero Hour is Generals 2 if you ask me. A full blown sequel to Generals would be bad. There isn't enough of story to continue it.

 

My guess is this other RTS team at EALA is probably developing RA3.

They're doing a LOTR RTS simply because they can. They own the LOTR movie license - and they haven't made an RTS out of it. Plus, a LOTR game might have a bigger 'interest base' than just another CNC. If they can bring more people into playing RTS'es, then the next CNC might sell better.
