Act On Instinct Remix in Kane's Wrath

Act On Instinct is considered one of the classic C&C songs, this track was first used in the original Command & Conquer in 1995, and then later it was remixed for C&C Renegade in 2002. If you listened the new Kane's Wrath Q&A Developer Podcast you would have heard the interesting news that Act On Instinct will in fact be remixed once again for Kane's Wrath.

The short sample you refer to sounds exactly like the Renegade Remixed version. I highly doubt that it's Act on Instinct 3.

yeh. If they did it with TS and RA2 what is the problem in adding it to newer games?

I know they can release games as they change underwear but at least they could add this little detail.

There is definitely a remix of Act on Instinct in Kane's Wrath, but I definitely did not put a sample of that in the podcast. What you hear is exactly what Saracen said, its the version from Renegade. I think this rumor that I put a sample in started on our official message boards, I shot it down real quick.

 

So, yes there is definitely a remixed version, but you have not heard any sample from it yet.

I think the reason HM2 was so good was becouse it was Frank himself that did the remix,.

(Well it made me finally go out and find all the klepacki music and download them... it's working on it now.)

 

I prefer RA2 over RA1, but I prefer HM1 over HM2... which is weird because I thought it would have been the other way around.

(I do like the slower RA2 version though!)
