I would have to go out simulate the actions of the games in real life. Take GTA4 for example.

I would be that guy who spends his life on anime/manga and his money on anime plushies/PVCs/costumes/other merchandise. I also would take an intensive japanese language course.

 

And my grades in school would be so high because I'm not wasting my time playing video games.

Meh, it wouldn't be a loss... These days to me, they're more a minor distraction rather than a mere essential product in my life. After all my PC is now redundant as a gaming rig, and I play on my PS3 or the wife's Wii when I have the time and if there's nothing on TV, work to do on the PC or I don't feel like reading a book. Shock I know maybe, but I haven't played GTA 4 for about a week now. Not because I'm not interested in it, but I'm more of a "very casual" gamer now and I don't feel the need to "play games" much any more.

 

Proof is in the pudding really. I had around 300 PC games, 50 PS2 games, 5 PS3 games and 25 PSP games at Xmas. Now it's 32 PC games, 8 PS2 games, 1 PS3 game, and 11 PSP games.... I've cleared my Library right out and sold the excess that I'm not gonna play any more. There's a chance still that I may cut that further on the PC and PSP front.

Stargate and all Sci-Fi is boring to me... I wish I could get into to talk about it to all my sci-fi friends yet it's just so dull.

 

And yet for some reason C&C is fun. Meh.

Sci-Fi is more for people who like their shows in-depth. The downside is that it spends more time explaining things, which bores people. In addition, in order to understand what's going on, you have to have been watching it straight from the beginning.

sci-fi is good :3 i's a major trekkie xD i loved SG-1 but i didn't like atlantis that much... never much bothered watching it o.o i love anything war based too... i wish there were pretty much -any- war tv series... be it WW2, WW1 or napoleonic era or whatever. the only ones i've seen were blackadder and tour of duty (i FREAKING LOVED tour of duty o_o it was awesome) and of course there's sharpe (which thankfully they are still making. there's half a dozen more books yet to be put into film n_n) and of course band of brothers... but we need more o.o; i mean there are dozens of sci-fi and action stuff... but only a few war shows o.o

i'd love to see see something like that... or maybe a war/sci-fi combo, like a whole series focusing on the future war from terminator 2 n_n now THAT would rule... or a live action starship troopers tv series (sure the animated one was cool but live action would be so much better n.n)

blackadder was good for watching once but i found it too cynical and dark to watch repeatedly... so i'm not too fond of it o.o either way we need more war tv series o.o

I would have to reevaluate my entire life. I'm going to college to learn how to make games. Although technically I suppose I could work on a team to create games without actually playing them

 

I suppose I could fall back on CGI for Hollywood movies.

I rather liked the Transformers special effects, specially that one that switched into an F22 all the time, he kicked ass.

actually i'm refering to flesh. you can do decent metal in CGI easily and have it look good, but flesh? even the most advanced CGI still looks like rubber mannequins o.o; i've only seen maybe one or two examples of truely awesome CGI where the flesh looked real and those were in cgi program's examples to show what -could- be done... and even then the eyes still lacked that spark of life, they still looked dead o.o;
