agree. technically, they can shut you down or worse, sue you. Controvary to most believe, modding as a whole is still in its infant stage, and therefore the issue with modding is still in a "grey" area. -

odd question... since there was a public alpha, I don't know how it exactly worked, so may I ask that was there any game data, like 3d models and textures ever stored at participant hard drive, any chance the alpha data can be mined?? cheers!! keith

EA won't sell it even they can't make money from it, is just the same old problem from the corruted core of EA coporate, they rather the franchise die than giving other company the oppotunity to make a profit from it, what can I say, coporate greed... or they can sell it to a small company and see how that go, and if its good then they would buy it back, cunning move isn't it?? but deeper thinking, no, I don't think they would. -

EA man!! I can see their demise in the closer future... they keep pouring money in to invest on new games then kill them off before they can hatch... and they would eventually lose all loyal consumers cause they keep screwing with them, keepng them fasle hope is one of the biggest crime... and the losses are gonna increase exponentially cause the negativity (I am trying to use modest word) would just keep building up... EDIT: may be the world gonna end and they know about it......XD -

Since I started wtih Tiberian Sun first, so I would like to know how people who got introduced to C&C with the first game feel about, well, everthing really. May I ask do you still play C&C 1 from time to time, and do you still feel excited as you back in the days?? you see, for me, since I started with TS, I found myself difficult to communicate with the first game, the momentum is different, units designs are different, and of course the interface and its mechanics are different, things like 1 click at a time on units contruction, even for the infantry... so would be great if we can talk a bit of that, and menawhile, I will alway give it a try, may be one day, I might like it as you do

he looks like my faculty head when i was in uni -
it rushed at the time because EA was collaborating with the States to try to let the players to have a taste of middle-eastern war in time before the real insurgence into Afghanistan began after 911. yeah, we are all getting old.... not the mind though!! I think more CnC players are younger than we do these days Hell, I would put Tiberium Wars on the top myself, I started on Tiberian Sun, through Red Alert 2 and so on... I got a little confused in TS and migrated to Starcraft, starting interested in the Tiberium universe again at uni with TW, so yeah, I like TW a lot, though I would pretend the Scrin does not exist, and I rarely play as or against Scrin in skirmish mode, I just don't agree with them...

always curious about this amazing dll... wondering if they would eventually add more support to sprites (edit: I meant shp), like aircraft coding seems cannot be applied to units that using sprites... I think RA2/YR engine is great, but in this incarnation, you can already see the visual differences between things that use voxels like tanks, and ships with things that use sprites like building and deploying animation like the one in siege chopper, the engine visual quality seems leaning more towards to the sprites, while voxel, though is double the amount in "resolution" seems lacking behind... in TS, one can notice less of a differences between things that are sprites and voxels though their resolution and colour range are less compare with RA2...

good good good!! I thought China was gonna be left out from the refurbishment and updates, psych...... ok, i need to ask the guy how he define the Chinese design aesthetic in oppose to the Russian, cause they can be quite similar, IMO, Chinese was just a replacement to the Russian in Generals, now they are on the same table.... -
so got to finished the gdi story. and the ending i got was: Colonel James is a bitch, and i got shut downed for good. but always appreciated a "thank you" from Kane. don't know if it was a bug...i finished the last mission then the FMV started, but something puzzled me, how did i get from the battlefield, and suddenly kinda teleported into inside the scrin tower??? or this is just the way it is for the ending?? ah, duno. i learned nothing from the ending....

I think so too, unless with some adequate coding, since i don't know coding, so I would say it gonna be pretty hard to achieve... but one the other hand, don't you think its amazing that it opens up possibility that somehow a mod with Tiberian Twilight materials (including the look of the graphics) with traditional/good old features of C&C?? i for one believe that abomination of a game can still be fix...

hi, somebody have probably posted this, i just couldn't find that... has anyone of you experienced the bug in the weapon counter where the numeral get too big and they overlapped?? so is impossible to know how many bullet you have?? any help would be grateful!! thanks in advance!!
