EA Announces Command & Conquer 3 Deluxe Edition

EA have announced that the Command & Conquer 3 Deluxe Edition is now available in stores, well in North American stores anyway, I'm not sure of its international availability. Command & Conquer 3 Deluxe Edition includes both Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath in the same pack. Here's the press release.

Electronic Arts is announcing today that the Command & Conquer 3: Deluxe Edition, is now available at retailers. This tremendous strategy gaming value includes 2007's best-selling real-time strategy game of the year* Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and it's critically acclaimed expansion pack Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath, and will be available for the low price of $39.99.

 

Together, the Deluxe Edition includes two decades of war in the Command & Conquer saga, from the rise of Kane and the rebirth of Nod all the way through the Third Tiberium War and beyond, including over 45 story-driven single player missions (which equals approximately over 100 hours of gameplay). The Deluxe Edition also features over two hours of the C&C franchise's trademark high-definition, live-action movies starring Natasha Henstridge, Josh Holloway, Michael Ironside, Billy Dee Williams and of course the iconic Joe Kucan as Kane.

 

Also included are over 60 multiplayer maps, with players having the options of choosing from nine unique armies, each equipped with their own special powers, units and play styles.

Wow, we had this compilation for quite a while now. The T rated version is months old (Probably released back with KW in March), the M-rated version came out some weeks ago. I'm curious what surprise Mr. Sonic has in store for us I would buy this if I hadn't KW separately...

Anyway, I could tell this was coming. I still find it baffling that they didn't wait for Kane's Wrath and release the CNC Saga then (with Kane's Wrath included).

Yeah I totally forgot about this pack. But remembered it once I found the box shot... However that was called the Limited Edition, it only had a short run. It was announced when Kane's Wrath was announced. If you recall, you could purchase either C&C 3 Limited Edition or Kane's Wrath and the RA3 beta key was included.

 

 

The Deluxe Edition is the same pack, with a slightly different name, no RA3 beta obviously, and from what APOC told me it will have a much larger run than the Limited Edition.

Its a PC release as far as know.
