Next C&C Game...

I voted for "Other" because I don't want Generals 2 or anything you suggest in the voting options. I want a new C&C FPS. In a perfect world EALA should resurrect the old Renegade 2 project.

 

But its a probably Generals 2 anyway

Going back in history would be pretty cool actually... love to see a good Civil War RTS or a C&C with Greeks and ****. xD

No, going back in time would be stupid. There are plently of OTHER RTSs that do those eras perfectly, with out C&C ****ing it up royally. They do scifi futuristic and are reasonably good at it, so they can stick with that.

 

They could do a nice intergalatic type RTS. Where you go about invading other worlds. So yeah, just go rip off SC2. hahaha

DOH! I forgot about Renegade 2 or Tiberium. I should have included those, but to be fair, neither of those games really have side-bars and MCV's!

Although I would enjoy an attempt at a RTS/FPS hybrid...

CnC Generals 2 will be next for sure. it is going in the same exact pattern as it did, after red alertt came generals. in my opinion, generals was the best, i am a fan of modern warfare and this game really got me pumped, they do need alot more facts and alot more units such as a navy would be nice, but generals the the best.

imo C&C 3 has reached a glass ceiling...EA can see the glass but can't see what's behind it when it comes to the Tiberian universe.

 

I hope for a Generals 2 though as Generals was pretty awesome.

SP is the main thing for me so generals is ect.

Just because Gen1 was lacking in the SP department, doesn't mean that Gen2 would also lack that component. I think Uprising alone proves that EALA would try to improve the SP experience in a Gen2.

 

With Gen2 rumors recently kboshed, lets start a petition for a new C&C FPS!

I'm up for that, FPS feels fresh in C&C.

Although I'm pretty sure a different team at EALA would make it as the guys who made TW and RA3 are primarily focused on RTS, I think.

I really think EALA is being foolish by not tapping the potential C&C FPS market. There are many mods for C&C Renegade and even C&C FPS mods for other games like Unreal Tournament 3 or Crysis.

Yep, Singularity looks great and very reminiscent of RA, thus, there's no need for Ren2.

 

I'd like to see either CnC4 or Gens 2 next. But with a new engine, damn it!
