Sonic 296 Posted March 30, 2009 A while back we had a quick poll on our forums asking if anyone wanted to CNCNZ.com jump on the Twitter bandwagon, everyone basically said it wasn't needed. Well I've decided to give it test run anyway to see how useful it will be. I'll use it to promote regular site features, site status updates and anything else that comes to mind. Our Twitter address is http://twitter.com/CNCNZcom, easy to remember, easy to find. So follow us.... and stay updated! If your on Twitter on yourself, let me know and you could have CNCNZ.com following you. Share this post Link to post
recover 2 Posted March 30, 2009 Lots of people are using twitter these days... It looks cool but I haven't had the time to try it out. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 30, 2009 I refuse to use the system because its obviously a fad, just like blogs.. They're all going to die out shortly and we shall return to horrible looking websites with no content and just piles of stolen stuff. LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS! > But go CNCNZ. Nmenth 291 Posted March 30, 2009 I hate to say it, but I agree with Luk3us. Things like this are for the drones that follow fads as if they will fill some sort of void within themselves because of it. However, I have no problems with it existing. Like so much other content the internet has to offer, it will simply be ignored by me. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted March 30, 2009 (edited) Unfortunately I'm not joining the crowd to chase these fads. Blogs, Livejournal, and even social networks like the traditional friendster to modern fad Facebook and myspace. To me it's a waste of time, and most importantly, pointless. Besides, a decent homepage and a forum is just fine. -1 minute ago Pooped! It's brown and huge, and smells cheesy. Must be the cheesy poofs I ate this morning. -2 minutes ago I'ma gonna poop. -3 minutes ago Howdy! I was here. -23 hours ago Edited March 30, 2009 by Malevolence Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted March 30, 2009 Friends networks are okay, but Twitters, blogs and stuff are a little too much. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted March 30, 2009 i actually participate in myspace, facebook, and recently twitter. it seems to me that twitter is useless because facebook does everything it does but more of my friends have it. myspace is almost purely for my music endeavors. id recommend a facebook group. im most active there at least. Inferno 22 Posted March 30, 2009 Only one I use is hyves, more or less a dutch version of facebook/myspace. Not really that active though Share this post Link to post

PurpleGaga27 40 Posted March 30, 2009 I only use Twitter to follow Apoc's daily blog, but nothing else. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted March 31, 2009 I heard a morning news channel describe twitter as the experience of having a two-year telling you they are going to the toilet to do do a poo-poo. "Thanks for sharing!" is the comment that comes to mind. Have fun twits. Share this post Link to post

Gben 20 Posted April 1, 2009 No. I seem to miss every second post in any given thread... it's a weird condition but I can live with it. Share this post Link to post
Mighty BOB! 5 Posted April 2, 2009 What is this Twitter you speak of? Also I hate the word "trend." Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted April 6, 2009 You could just visit the website and find out! ;p But as it was explained to me, it's a way of communicating with the world what you're literally doing right now! Similar to facebook and msn's versions. Although this can be apparently be also updated by text/sms on your cell/mobile phone. Telling everyone you were going to do a poo is one thing. Paying $$$ to tell/find out is... RIDICULOUS!!! (Disclaimer: All my comments are based on rumors and innuendo!) Share this post Link to post

Luk3us 63 Posted April 6, 2009 Twitter is free at the moment. But eventually they are going to implement a revenue venture and pwn some noobs out of their parents moneys! Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted April 6, 2009 You need to pay for reporting your actions and whereabouts? Ridiculous concept to begin with. I wonder why so many people embrace this concept and turning it into a brainless trend. -1 minute ago I was here! -2 minutes ago Share this post Link to post
