About the blue/gray thing. I think I once read Nyerguds explain that there is indeed a bit of a blue tint to the gray in-game. If I recall correctly it was because pure gray didn't show up well in C&C95's engine. In the cutscenes they're just regular gray urban camo though, without the blue tint.

 

And the blossom trees are coming. They just look kinda phallic right now. >_>

Now that I think of it, the riparius (sp?) looked sort of phallic in the original game. >_> Thanks for putting that picture in my head. <_<

Actually it's not a UFO, some dev from Petroglyph mentioned it was a crashed man made object, i cant remember what it is. I believe if I remember right should be a civilian helicopter.

Huh? What I meant is that most of the time I tried a mod, either the mod didn't work properly or when it did, it made the main game erroenous.

And that also reminds me of the Tiberian Sun one too. Speaking of that, Renegade has another UFO too, except with a different logo, it doesn't match EA's Scrin neither Westwood's Scrin logos.

I think we came to the conclusion that it was gray in American English and grey in British English.

Not to take this topic even more offtopic, but it depends over here even. I don't know what the Brits do, but I tend to find Yanks (meaning northerners..) use "grey" while southerns use "gray". I am only going off this because of what I've seen and the fact I learned to spell it "grey" from my mom and dad and making the English teacher made in elementary school when I kept spelling it that way. But the next year, my new English teacher spelled it the way I did and got mad at all the other kids, and she was very southern.. so go figure.

I didn't either, but I never actually beat that game, always got distracted by something else before finishing it (like buying RA1 the first time).

I always wished they had elaborated the story some on that UFO in Renegade.

Hey Silverthorn, its not a Scrin btw, its a crashed helicopter of sorts. Got that screenshot from that poorly maintained C&C wikia. Just ignore those wordings.
