Tyberon 0 Posted April 21, 2010 Hosting some mods in development would surely increase the overall activity. Perhaps our mod will help you out as far as activity goes. Before someone says we should put our mod on moddb I will not go down that path again. Moddb has screwed us on more than one occasion. Long story short they thought our mods sucked and bumped it off the lists. Sure it was for games that people hardly play anymore (Empire Earth and the first Dawn of War) so we decided to forget moddb and keep the mods to ourselves. Now that we've really got something big going we need a little more time. Perhaps we can make this mod official on CNCNZ forums. We'll check back in a few weeks when finals are done. Most of us go to school and work part time so we'll be slow to respond. (Keep in mind our mod team is small, about 2 sometimes 3 on the weekend.) Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted April 21, 2010 Far as I'm aware, Sonic doesn't host mods or sites anymore. He tried and it didn't quite work the way he wanted I don't think. He can give the official answer, but I'm pretty sure the answer would be no. If you want hosting though, I have the capability to do so. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted April 22, 2010 Well now that C&C is dead... again... (I'm joking!) maybe adopting a mod might not be in the realms of impossibility. That being said I wasn't really that interested in the mod that we hosted before... And again I have no authority or experience in this matter, but I see no reason why you can just inhabit a section of the forums and post your news there. Your home away from home... Sonic 296 Posted April 22, 2010 Back in July 2009 when the order of the forums was changed the idea was get more discussion about the actual games. It sort of worked but not as good as I hoped. Anyway, I have started a new thread here http://forums.cncnz.com/index.php?showtopic=13631 about discussing possible changes for the forum. So please continue the topic there.
