Should the flaming forum be wiped out?

I'm beginning to question the flaming forum, with the abusive language and the flaming of hosts as well as god knows what else. It is beginning to get beyond a joke in there.

 

I will admit I've given my fair share of flaming, but I've only just began to get like those that post in there. It becomes addictive, and is the single most mad area that's really beginning to make me wonder if such a public web-site as this should sport such profanity.

 

So as a moderator I'm taking this action... All flaming topics are now locked until further notice!!! If Sonic deems my actions a just cause then this forum will either be locked till further notice, or deleted altogether... cos I for one am sick of this forum being here.

It was originally created to keep flaming out of all the other forums. The problem I have with it is the fact that a lot of you use to way much.

 

One other thing I have noticed is that for those who are using it, they even set the topic reply notification option when replying to get an e-mail when someone replies to their post in the flamers forum :roll:

 

I'm siding with C&C King on this one, so don't be surprised if you see it the entire Flamers Zone forum removed very soon.

hmm, well a Fun Forum is always good to have around, especially if people can post their fun stuff there, instead of spamming here.

May I suggest a Games or Jokes forum like at cnc-boards to replace the flamers forum. At least it's a little more light hearted and at least in my opinion, is what constitutes as fun.

Well, we could add a few rules, to turn in it into the Fun Zone, instead of the flamers zone.

Especially the pics that were posted in of the threads there.

Well, I'm a bit confused. Maybe flamers zone don't need to be wiped out, it just need some control. If someone beginning to mock people or other website, just stop the thread and lock or bin it for good.

 

To Fenring, I didn't mean to offend you but, if you think so about the flamers zone, so for what is the porn forum in your forums? If you think it's for refreshment, so do the flamers zone.

 

Flamers zone also helps me in understanding the European (NZ too). Honestly, Asian culture and European (Including American) is very different. So, since I first came to the flamers zone, my knowledge is even bigger.

 

If there is no flamers zone at the first time I came here, I maybe won't know luk3us, tree, gaz, thierry. And maybe because that zone I met Thierry and join the WR mod team.

 

Afterall, it's up to you Sonic. I don't have the right to force you.

All of the posts will be kept. They will be dumped into the Recycle Bin forum so you can all still read them and see how stupid some of you carried on :lol:
