Well it was greece, greece suck, the computers were in greek, internet use cost a fiver per hour, serious heat wave, lack of decent coke....

Yeah Greece is dead expensive especially Cyprus, I thought the Great British Pound was very strong, only then I realised that £1 will buy you about 80p in their money...

 

It kinda makes you realise how the Americans feel when they want to come spend their money here in the UK, they only get under half of what they put in..

 

Some people like the Idea of an international currency... NO WAY... I've used the euro, cos I was living in Ireland for a few months and in comparison to our Pound it's terrible... OK you might get more Euros for your money, but the amount of euros you have to pay for many products is significantly more than what you'd pay in the UK.. So in effect, the cost of living is actually higher. :roll:

Plus, if we switched from the good old pound we'd go from being one of the richest nations on the planet to one of the poorest. Down with the EURO!

 

The problem with countries that actually HAVE the euro is that no-one understands them (eg. how much would a house cost? 300 million drachmas.) They dont even USE drachmas anymore!
