Seeing as how certian people are demanding the rest of us lazy bastards to start a thread or two here is my contribuation to the awesome cncnz forums.....

 

Most us here have avatars of some sort so a simple little explantion of it would be good. Some people's are pretty obvious but that doesn't matter post something anyway.

 

Oh and incase you don't know what I'm talking about its the little image below your name to your direct left...

Another weird thread by luk3us. I'm not lazy, it's just I don't have much time anymore to think. I must get myself ready for the next challenge.

 

First of all, I want to know about your avatar? You always used that avatar as far as I see until now.

 

My avatar is Kakashi, I took this pic from one of Japanese manga. He is a genius ninja. No further explanation. My previous avatar is Tao, he just looks alike with my grandpa, and he looks cool with his general suit.

With mine basically there are a few people in and around my town or nearby that are avid C&C fans.. Half the problem is that nobody believes that I help run one of the longest serving C&C fan-sites and have done for the last 4 years.

 

So I told them to have a quick look in the forums and find my pic on the avatar... that should shut them up. :lol:

Anyway getting back on topic. My avatar is just some guy with a gun. I picked it cause it had the nice sunset in the background.....

I think if the whole team showed their faces on this site, there'd be a sense of less mystery I think. Some people like that, some people don't.

 

I'm in some ways of a believer that you should always see the face of the person you're communicating with. I bow to opinion and personal preference when I say that some people would disagree.

 

Ideally in a way it would be cool to see the faces of those who work here, the only other 2 faces of staff I've seen here are Phreakly and Chickendippers and that's it... They are in essence not guys you'd expect to wanna rub up the wrong way if you met them personally. But I think that in reality we pose for the camera's to look serious, cool, and to say, yeah, we are how we want to be portrayed by first impressions.

 

We are of course all really softer than a freshly produced cow pat... than from what you see us to be in our pics. We have a laugh and are just like anybody else.... I'm just wondering that those who have been here for a while should be part of CNCNZ's "Dead 6" team. There are 6 of us who have been here since 2001 and a nice portrait of this "Dead 6" would go well if something was made in photoshop...

 

Of course I won't rule out Deadeye and those who joined us last year and this year, but it'd be a thought.... although it's not possible for us to meet up, a group photo with the use of modern image editing technology would be quite an interesting idea

I really dont care if I know someone's face. I really would care not to know people's age. I look to a lot of people, but when I know their age, I sort of look down on them, since I am one of the older people on these forums.

When I first started I chose to go with a Chinease style username instead of one based on, say, Tanya, so I really couldn't by rights use an avater of her. I browsed through the site's avaters and saw one of General Leang, but thought I would create the one that I now use, unless something gets my back up and then I will use the one where she is not smiling.
