All i do in ICT is sit back & learn programming languages, so far ive done HTML, Javascript, Visual Basic & Binary, none of them were actually taught to me in lessons :lol: .

School bores me so I don't like it all that much. Be that as it may, I'm good at it. Then again, I'm not in this semester.

 

I'd be taking IT classes mostly anyway.

School is pretty interesting, however it becomes boring whenever the time for the HELL ACOUNTING LESSONS come. I hate economy and accounting, both of them sucks.

School is an application of freedom in comparison to the big wide world. Most people are in school have a maximum of about 5 hours a day, 23.5 hours a week and that's not including about 90 minutes worth of breaks kids get.

 

Work on the other hand is a lot longer, and you get moaned at more. Plus you can't socialise in most work places. My working week is a standard 40 hour week over 8 hours a day, plus I do loads of overtime.

 

Then when you are not working you're worrying abouot bills for TV, Gas, electric, food, rent etc. And you have very little money left to go out, or buy stuff like games etc. It's like that every day of your adult life, the only good thing are the days off, but then you're paying the bills and cleaning the house in that time :roll:

 

So whoever says School is crap will have alot to learn when they leave school. Childhood and school is full of freedom and not much responsibility. You get fed, clothed, and looked after by the parents who are always slaving at work to provide you younger guys a good standard of living..

 

So think twice when you say you're life in or out of school sucks!

School is fun, sometimes. History is boring, I've been doing American history for 8 years, then this year we start over with the Ice Age. But millitary history is VERY interesting. And so are friends and music. I play the electric bass, and I'm getting an electric six string guitar in a month or so. I havent decided on the model yet, but I'm getting one regardless. I have an acoustic amplified guitar, but I dont play it much, my dad does.

I agree that some history is boring, I just can stand British Social & Economic history, but I love military history & the dark ages, WW1, WW2 & the cold war are all very interesting, & I just love learning about medival times, knights, wars, aincient combat, feudalism, castles & that lot.

I only find WWI, WWII and the Cold War interesting TBH. But life during the wars is pretty interesting too, I'd love to do studies on what life was like for normal germans during the war - but un-suprisingly we don't study it.

I would imagine that life in Gerany during WWII was pretty terrifying.
