Sonic 296 Posted February 3, 2005 I use Paint Shop Pro 7, I didn't like version 8 at all so I went back version 7. Version 9 is out now I think. Share this post Link to post

General immeyourenot 0 Posted February 3, 2005 I use Jasc Photo Shop Pro v8.0, I actually like it more than its predecessors. Can't stand Adobe, ridiculous what you have to do just to get the effect you want. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted February 9, 2005 Agreed, Adobe is rather riddiculous Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted February 9, 2005 I typically use MS Paint to the extent of its abilities... as lame as it is, I usually don't need to do all that much in the way of photo editing. I'd love to learn how to use a more powerful program though. What would you suggest for a person with a good deal of computer knowledge but limited graphics skills? Photoshop was a tad daunting when I tried it out... Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted February 9, 2005 Just go find some tutorials on the net. Or I suppose you could fork out some money on a course or something... Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted February 9, 2005 yeah, that's not a bad idea, but I was thinking more in the way of programs... Photoshop seems ridiculous, but Jasc Photo Shop Pro sounds good. Share this post Link to post

Doctor Destiny 41 Posted February 9, 2005 PSP7 and PS7. Sometimes I need to make those heavy duty layered images and that's when PhotoShop comes in handy. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted February 9, 2005 PSP7 and PS7. Sometimes I need to make those heavy duty layered images and that's when PhotoShop comes in handy. Paint Shop Pro handles layers just as well Photoshop does. In fact the entire Paint Shop Pro program is equal to Photoshop and a its way cheaper. I tried Photoshop a while ago and found it hard to use, cluttered interface, steep learning curving to learn the program. PSP is simpler yet gives you same results. Oh yeah all those fancy plugins for PS work in PSP as well Share this post Link to post
FlaK 0 Posted February 9, 2005 I use Paint, it suits me down to the ground. I'm learning how to use PS over the Easter holidays though. Share this post Link to post
