What kind of music do like?

Recommended Posts

Like the topic title says...

I like somewhat restful music, theme songs, not hard or loud crazy stuff.

I like old school metal and classic rock. I'll listen to anything though if it has a good beat but I'd pick the first over anything.

There's another topic by the name of "What kind of Music do you listen to?"

Rush, Styx, REO Speedwagon, AC-DC, The Who, Van Halen, The Scorpions, Emerson Lake and Palmer, YellowCard, Linkin' Park, Metallica, Pat Matheny, John Williams. And C&C music, of course.

I really don't like music. Asian music is really good but I don't know where to find it.

anyone heard of any of these bands?

zao, underoath, further seems forever, the juliana theory, dead poetic, emery, relient k, anberlin, as I lay dying, the agony scene, on broken wings, blindside, copeland, mae, holland, mewithoutyou, norma jean, twothirtyeight

...that's the bulk of what I listen to. I also love classic rock (led zeppelin, metallica, doobie brothers, boston, etc), some classical, and of course klepacki's stuff

You can find some Asian musics in the net. I suggest you to find about the South Korean and the Japanese. They are good. I'd like to recommend BOA, Hyde, Gackt, Ayumi Hamasaki, V6, and L'Arc en Ciel musics.

Anyway, my favourite musics are J-Music and Orchestra.

Anybody ever listen to Jamacian Steel drum bands? Rather cool, I would say. Never metal(literal substance) make so much different sounds.

Don't you dare to forget Yuki Kajiura :P

My favourite music is Folk, J-pop, 70's hard rock... and movie & game soundtracks.

Actually, I listen to pretty much everything I get my hands on, from heavy metal to classic ;D

Current obsession: Frank Klepacki's Dune II music (SEGA Genesis).
