Saracen 16 Posted April 27, 2005 btw king, hows ur wife...u couple getting along well? u plan on having kids....maybe i shouldn't have asked that...lol.... Wife's doing good mate, still getting on like a house on fire. The kids are being worked on but less detail the better lol. Anyway what did I do today.. slept in for quite a while. Day off meant that I got an extra 5 hours sleep, so 10am was the best thing I did today, as I caught up on some well deserved rest. No mail, as has been for the last few days now (companies can keep their bills) had breakfast and sat down to post on the boards and checked to update news on the main page, but as usual there wasn't any. After a good solid few hours of Imperium Galactica 2 I met the mrs from her work, came home, and spent some quality time watching TV and having a good chat. Before having dinner watching more TV and finishing up by watching WWE RAW on Sky Sports 3... Now I'm here with no pie tonight, but I do have a cigarette and I'm quite well relaxed. It's been a good day off with no stress, but tomorrow is a different story. 5am and back to the grind, and yet more people bothering me about where things are in the store, and that's just my staff  Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted April 27, 2005 Smoking is bad for you Quit now.....before it takes over and ruins your life..... Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted April 27, 2005 At least I didn't start at 12 like most people do here in England. Sometimes it's your only friend, especially when you work for a company that's threatened by takeover because it's not financially safe... When the store manager is breathing down your neck to get the department perfect and reach sales targets it can be difficult at times. And when your staff mostly consist of teenagers who just can't be bothered to work most of the time, it makes your life difficult cos then I have to make their lives difficult and that makes them hate me more, which them wanna work less... no wonder the company is seemingly falling through, nobody is happy when you have to follow company policies  Share this post Link to post

GeneralZ 0 Posted April 28, 2005 here....."smoking is bad" is really drilled into u. Everybody says dont smoke. our mayor, Bloomberg passed an anti-smoking law that forbids smoking in bars and i think restaurants....i'm not sure..i dont really know them well... I hate the smoke from cigarretes, when i smell it, i try to stay upwind or whatever from them so the smell doesnt come my way Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted April 28, 2005 I know what that's like, as a smoker I get all the "smoking is bad for you!" stuff from almost everyone I know as well. I hate the smell of other people smoking as well, which is weird. Smoking in bars was made illegal over here quite recently. What brand do you smoke King? I smoke Port Royal roll-your-owns. I started last year, to "combat the stress from my last year of high school" which actually was piss-easy. Go me. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted April 28, 2005 **Quick lunch break post** Golden Virginia hand rolling tabbacco. I get it cheap from a friend who is a long distance lorry driver, and brings it back from europe. a 50g pouch of that will last me a week, where as 20 normal cigarettes will only last me the day. Anyway back to work for the afternoon... 3 more hours reminaing, oh the joy  Share this post Link to post

Acerz492 1 Posted May 15, 2005 As this topic has gone the way of the dodo, I'm going to tell you guys what I did over the weekend. Yes, it's a bit to the side of what the original topic asks, but it should be alright, right King? Saturday, May 14: 1:20am: One of my old school mates, Ryan, drunk-dails me and asks me if I want to go to a birthday party of another one of my old school mates, Simon. Being that it's Simon's 18th, I vaguely remember saying yes. 5:34am: Guess who just happened to wake me up from a restless slumber? Bloody Simon and Ryan!! Not only that, they are drunk, and are only awake by the sheer number of party pills they have taken. I don't know how they managed to get to my house, but from what I got out of them, they were driving down south, for reasons they couldn't remember, and then they were at my house (Nice explaination guys, but thanks for missing me  ). What's more funny, is that the didn't want to wake me up, so instead of checking to see if the gate was unlocked (which it was) and sliding it open just enough for them to get through (which they didn't), they just scaled my damn fence and woke me up anyway. 'Tards! 5:36am: I bring Simon and Ryan into my room, and notice that they have three bottles of beer on them. They give me the third bottle of beer. Fair call, I'll accept free booze anyday. 5:38am: My brother (I share a room with him, which happens to be our garage converted into a room 8) ) wakes up. I have a cigarette or three with Simon and Ryan while my brother is waking up. 6:30am: My mum wakes up, and comes out to investigate the noise. She totally flips out, untill I tell her that she already knows Simon and Ryan, and that they are not drinking and driving. Mum calms down, we finish our cigarettes, and go inside for coffee. 7:00am: I arrive at work, courtesy of a semi-sober Ryan and a totally pissed Simon in the back seat. 10:00am: Work starts. Hell is unleashed. But I have had about 5 cups of coffee between 6:30am and 9:30am. So I'm alright. 5:30pm: Finish work. I decide I hate work. Even though I had gotten employee of the month at the staff meeting at 8:00am. 7:30pm: Arrive at Britomart Transport Centre in downtown Auckland City, via train. My friend Jackson (who has Wolverine's sideburns 8) ) picks me up, and we finally arrive at Simon's at 8:00pm. Reason being? We had to get another school mate of mine, Putan (not related to Vladimir Putin), to give us directions. He was already tanked. It wasn't good. 8:05pm: Jackson immediatly goes into "Putan Search-and-Destroy Mode". Putan is found. Putan is now unconscious, due to vast amounts of alcohol. Sprawled naked from the waist down across a table. Everyone seems to be ignoring Putan, so Jackson and I do perhaps the most decent thing that we'll ever do in our entire lives: Pour a bucket of ice-cold water on him. 8:07pm: Putan wakes up with a scream that makes him sound like a little girl. He exposes himself to almost everyone present. Guys laugh, girls cover their eyes (but you know that they were peeking  ) and Putan goes inside and we don't see him for awhile. 9:10pm: Half-drunk, I manage to find Ryan with a bit of a predicament: He has a bong, and a lighter. He dosen't have any weed. Then I remember my predicament: I have weed, but no method of "consuming" it. 9:15pm: It takes us both 5 minutes to piece together our predicaments to create a solution. 9:20pm: Session numero uno commences, Ryan has what he described later as "the meanest coughing fit I've ever had in my entire life." Yeah, this is coming from an insomniac alcoholic, who's insomnia isn't being helped by the amount of party pills he had taken in the morning when the dolt woke me up. 9:50pm: Session number two commences. I started being buzzed out by the weirdest things: fog, a beer bottle, my shoe, Ryan comaring out. 11:20pm: After two hours and ten minutes of talking out of my ass with my old school mates, which also included "Mullet" Ryan, Bryn, Daniel, Dave, Putan (who had actually coma'd in the smaller of the two bathrooms that were downstairs, in a pool of his own vomit), and of course, Ryan, Simon, and Jackson, I was finally introduced to the female audience of the party. They included Ryan's girlfriend, Simon's girlfriend, and about 5 of their friends. I could only remember two of them: Hayley (Simon's girlfriend) and Laura (I assume was one of Ryan's friends). The only reason as to why I remember these two are for three reasons: 1) Hayley fixed my filter bag with sellotape, 2) They were there the next morning, and 3), see below. 11:35pm: Laura, Dave, "Mullet" Ryan and I decide to go out onto the sidewalk and have a third session. The other Ryan coma'd out inside, and so we just moved him and covered him with a blanket. We almost finish off what weed I had left, but I put a stop to us getting wasted when Laura had fallen asleep on my shoulder and I had to carry her inside. It dosen't seem like much, but when you're pretty wasted, it is a freakin' mission. Sunday, May 15th: 12:10am: We finally get inside, and our beds have already been laid out. The only people that were left were myself, Laura, Simon, Ryan, Bryn, "Mullet" Ryan, Dave, and Hayley. Bryn was on a couch. I, along with Laura, "Mullet" Ryan, Dave, and Ryan, expanded across the breadth of the room on rubber matresses on the floor. Of course, Simon and Hayley got their own room. 8:30am: Woke up to the sound of "Mullet" Ryan and Dave waking up and gapping it so they didn't have to do any cleaning. Not that there was much, as Simon made a drunken effort to do some cleaning before he went to bed. Laura had also taken my bloody blanket too. I thought, "Bugger it, she can have it," turned over and went back to sleep. 10:30am: Woke up when a pillow, a heavier pillow, and a plastic bottle hit my head, at roughly the same time. Culprits? Ryan, Simon, and Ryan again. Bastards. 10:30am - 3:00pm: Bacon and Eggs for breakky! AND COFFEE!!! WOOT! Then chips and wantons from a takeaway place for a semi-lunch. Ryan decided that he'd drop me off, and Laura tagged along as well. I got home, smacked Ryan in the head twice (for the pillow and the bottle. THE BOTTLE HURT!) and kick my brother off of the computer. 9:45pm - 10:45pm: Typed this up, then realise I start work at 7:00am tomorrow morning. Gah. Note: This is all I remember. There was alot more. But I simply do not remember.  Good times... Share this post Link to post

Acerz492 1 Posted May 16, 2005 thats pretty detailed for being drunk. I was only half drunk And I'm pretty decent with memory. It's only those little flashes of a black screen with white text saying, "Scene Missing" that I worry about. But if I'm drinking I know it's due to alcohol so it's okay. u smoked weed?? dont take drugs Pfft, I don't do it as often as you think. And weed, alcohol and tobacco are the only "drugs" I do anyway. what a well-spent day  Note: Weekend, my friend. You see, I can sum my day up in one line: Wen to my g/f's house ...that's all you're gettin' But anyone who has a girlfriend/boyfriend can say that, and that's boring. And not everyone goes over to their girlfriend's/boyfriend's house just for "favours". At least I've written a detailed post. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted May 16, 2005 At least I've written a detailed post. yes... a borderline obnoxiously detailed post Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted May 16, 2005 yes... a borderline obnoxiously detailed post  I get slagged for being on-topic and being off topic? Yeesh, thanks for the encouragment. If I could've had that free-for-all with Cygnus and GeneralZ it would've been much more interesting post. But I didn't. So nyah. Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Today, I found myself in college wondering why I wasn't at home playing the new Boss Generals mod, but came to no solution to the problem in my head. This was followed by wondering why I had bothered to wake up that morning, something that ended up also being to no avail. Still, I plodded through college, had lunch, came home and am currently contemplating getting changed, though I doubt I'll do it before 5 o'clock, because I'm too comfortable in this chair at present. cnc_sage 0 Posted May 16, 2005 I tried out the TS:Retro mod and TS:Total War. Retro is cool, with Nod I get to build TD light tank, apc and with GDI, the Mammoth Tank. I can't use TSTW since I don't have a CD... Meanwhile my school's 10th aniversary has come. Share this post Link to post
