War of the Worlds - It'll be interesting to see how Stephen Spielberg portrays one of H.G. Wells' greatest Science Fictions

With Spielberg directing and with Tom Cruise playing lead role, I'd say there's nothing to worry about. The original Tripod alien as described in H.G. Wells' books are going to be here, but they are keeping these creatures under wraps to the last possible moment.

 

Although they will look similar to the art depicted in Jeff Wayne's Brilliant musical audio masterpiece of the book. I imagine they are going to get a great overhaul to make them look more evil and mysterious than anything seen in Hollywood so far.... They will probably be less mechanical, and more organic in my opinion.

maybe hitchhikers... i've always prefered red dwarf myself so i'm waiting for them to make that movie. can't wait for the war of the worlds remake o.o; as long as they don't die by the common cold like the original... it was kinda tacky and a lil bit disappointing... maybe something more exciting if they have to have a disease, like ebola or some evil virus *shrugs*

episode 3 looks promising. even with the CGI i'll let it slip just because it's the one missing link *drools over the thought*

I can hrdly wait for SW3. Though, the movie I'm -really really really- looking foward to is Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. Though, I'm not sure if it's actually going to be in theatres, as they say it's going to be a direct-to-DVD release (in which case I am setting aside some money to pre-order it), but it's at the top of my list of "Movies to see/get almost as soon as they come out." :lol: Very much in anticipation, I am! I'm going to see Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy...still haven't read the book yet :oops:

it would seem from, roberts or chris's or sumthing(cnt remember which one) website tht they have had some serious mudda fukker problems with getting some1 to give them enough money to prodcude the movie, they've already been trying to get it made for the last 10 or sumnthing yrs now, and had like 8 i think different people turn them down, one was going to if they used american actors but they turned tht down (thank fuk)

Easiest would be to get the Ultimate Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy which has all the series in it. Other wise look up Douglas Adams, 'cause I cant remember all the books titles.
