Cygnus X-1 12 Posted August 13, 2005 Hell is bad. Heaven is good. Purgatory is middle ground. Al I know is, when you're up you're up, and when you're down you're down. But when your only halfway there you're neither up or down Share this post Link to post

Azrael 0 Posted August 14, 2005 Mobsters call Heaven the "Big Pizza Parlor in the sky"... I hope to get entrance to Heaven you've got to do what Daniel Garner did in Painkiller... Frag thousands of demons and kill Lucifer's generals... Now THAT'S a real fight against evil... Hahahaha... Die, Lucifer, die! Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted August 14, 2005  And what about John Constantine? Can't forget about him. Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted August 14, 2005 I though it was quite good. I especially like the part where Constatine flips off Satan..hehe, that was awsome. I mean, how many people get a chance to flip off Lucifer himself? Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted August 14, 2005 I MUST SAVE THE TOPIC!!!! CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, alot of christians don't seem to know that you're not supposed to pass judgement on other people's beliefs, that's God's job We don't pass judge people, we form opinions about their beliefs and lets people know what they are....where the heck is Bware when ya need him  Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted August 14, 2005 Yeah I know, he aint been arund to defend the US or the Catholics lately. :? :? I think what was meant by the Catholic judgement statement was that many Catholics say not to judge people, then they go and judge people. What I really hate is when people say Cristians are hypocrite because they cant quote verses out of the Bible. Other people seem to think that the Bible is a litteral translation of our faith. Its not. Share this post Link to post

Cygnus X-1 12 Posted August 14, 2005 / this is a religious thread / Another thing that annoys the crap outa me. When that one judge (im horrible at names) had the Ten Commandments posted up in the lobby of his workplace ,and a bunch of people protested and wanted them taken down, so he had to or be fired. Thats stupid, concidering the back 7 are National laws anyways. Share this post Link to post
Waraddict 0 Posted August 14, 2005 That sounds bloody rediculous, specially since Athiests often complain that we're hypocrites because we don't follow our 10 commandments enough. But, like my point above, its a trait of man to be different and I suppose being a moron is included... Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted August 15, 2005 @ Cygnus: Only in America... But, like my point above, its a trait of man to be different and I suppose being a moron is included... I think we can shorten that to: That sounds bloody rediculous, specially since Athiests often complain that we're hypocrites because we don't follow our 10 commandments enough. That's a weak arguement for being an athiest. When they say that, that means that they are either: A) Following the flock of idiots in the whole "Athiest Bandwagon" or Not very intelligent or C) A combination of both. It's usually C). I've found that the best way to be an athiest is just say, "I don't believe" instead of downright insulting and protesting the reasons as to why some people have their faith. In the end you get nowhere. And if they turn around and start getting in your face about it (this only applies to the fundamentalists here  ), you just flip 'em off, tell them to piss off, and walk away. They can't do anything, because if they do, then they're only going against what they have put their faith in. Though it's still fun to point out the bull**** parts of any faith and see what they have to say, if they're the type of people who have jumped on the "Believe in (insert deity/deities here) bandwagon" like many people have. It isn't being hypocritical: It's just me being an asshole. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted August 15, 2005 Religion is because of arrogance. We as a race are very arrogant and think more of ourselves than anything thing else on this rock. That we are some how better than everything else. So to justify this we make up all this bull**** (religion) to justify our arrogance... Of course no offensive to yea people of faith. Whatever makes you happy... It ain't real. But then believing in Santa never hurt anyone either... Share this post Link to post
