Alphabear 11 Posted November 30, 2005 yeah any of the resident evil series on gamecube are awsome. if you want a game that will scare the **** out of you though go for eternal darknes. it was designed by a guy in a mental assylum. Mariokart is good though for playing with mates. i havent tried the new mario tennis but thw first one was great. Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted November 30, 2005 I happen to be a veteran of Gamecube games. If you like wrestling games then the best I have played is Wrestlemania XIX, later versions are too slow to load. Rogue Leader is a solid game, if a little arcade compared to X Wing. Star Fox Adventures is entertaining if cute games do not bother you. SSX Tricky is fun, but try and get SSX 3 as it is the better game. Spiderman is good for the price you would get it for, but if you are willing to pay for it get the sequal. Soul Calibur 2 might be around your price range now that the next one has been released, and is really worth getting. Resident Evil 4 is by far the best of the series, but the remake is worth purchasing. Zero plays a little slowly especially after RE4, but it that does not bother you then buy it. Agent Under Fire you can get very cheaply and is recommended, and Nightfire is even better. Die Hard might be worth a go if you are a fan of the films. Dark Summit is a bit of a waste really, maybe a distraction if little else. Crazy Taxi is worth the cheap price you would pay for it. Burnout is a cheap distraction, but may appeal if all the extras of the other games are too distracting. Beach Spikers is a good game, if you are into that sort of thing. Aggressive Inline is probably only worth a rental to be honest. And 2002 Fifa World Cup I would recommend over even the later Fifa games. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted November 30, 2005 mmmmm... GameCube... The Cube has plenty but if you're tight on budget you can't go wrong with any of the Player's Choice titles, The Wind Waker, RE4, anything with Mario is always a good pick, the Mega Man anniversary collection... However, it's up to you, dw6xl. Personally, I'd grab Smash Bros Melee. It's cheap and offers hundreds upon hundreds of hours of gameplay. Share this post Link to post
Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted November 30, 2005 For those Resident Evil fanatics, I think the remake of the original on the Gamecube is ESSENTIAL to understand the plot of the series better. <still having Lisa Trevor nightmares > Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted November 30, 2005 You know what? I've never played a Resident Evil game. How crazy is that? Anyone care to fill me in on the basic plot? It seems interesting.... Share this post Link to post
Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted November 30, 2005 Bit long and twisted. This is the best place to have a general look over it. http://www.answers.com/topic/resident-evil Basic shell of it is that scientists make zombie virus, and many variations and the whole thing goes nova, so people who survive try and unravvel a very complex conspiracy/mystery surrounding the virus creators.
