twitchybutswirly 0 Posted June 15, 2006 ok kids...as an American citizen, I do have to say that our President is completely useless and thousands of our young men and women (yes bware, women CAN join the military) are dying for no reason other than the control of some oil fields. personally, i feel that you should not be the President if you cannot correctly pronounce the word nuclear (he says nuke-u-lar) or form a coherent sentence under your own power. Bush is a bumbling, corrupt, idiot who had to resort to rigging an election in order to win. I am a FLORIDIAN and I can say that. Just so nobody gets their panties in a bunch n starts trying to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. As an example of W's idiocy I give you my favorite Bush-ism: "I believe that the humans and the fish can coexist peacefully." What?! Were we in some inter-species war with the fish that I was unaware of? He's an idiot. Period. And when you have to resort to insulting someone as a form of argument on a topic, it just means you need to do more research or just shut the fack up. Because you've obviously run out of things to say. Oh, n thanks to my Cockney Rebel! I gotta give my boy some for tellin people like it is. Everyone should be honest about their occ/interests! I sure am... Arguing with bware is like talking to a brick wall :shot: Share this post Link to post

Alphabear 11 Posted June 15, 2006 But the thing is your not arguing with him there your just relaying the same anti-bush lines the media used. Im not saying your points are false but your thinking exactly what the media is telling you to think. Im probably one of the last people to defend some of his choices but i do think he has alot of integrity. He made a decisions regarding the war on terror that at the time was a popular decision. Even though the media has turned the general public against these policies he had made these decisions to go to war and has stood by them. And sure he has made alot of strange statements but its usually just a bad choice of words in a speech that has a valid point. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted June 15, 2006 @badger the simple: You are a clown. I'm done talking to you  Now for this twitchy fool who suddenly arose from the primordial ooze to share his "enlightened," copied and pasted, trendy bush bashing with us.... ok kids...as an American citizen, I do have to say that our President is completely useless and thousands of our young men and women (yes bware, women CAN join the military) are dying for no reason other than the control of some oil fields. This whole opening sentence is so pathetically bogged down in errors and inaccuracies that I'm just going to point out the biggest ones... 1) Being an American citizen doesn't suddenly give you the authority to call the Commander in Chief "completely useless" in a time of war. It makes you an idiotic American- not a credible one. 2) I have never before said that women should not join the military. This is a pathetic little jab based in nothing but your silly, weak-minded little assumption. For those keeping score, do you remember my constant reminders of the weak-minded rooting their thinking in comfortable stereotypes? Here we have a prime example. 3) This war is not, nor was it ever for, oil. This is so incredibly obvious, and empirically PROVABLE, that it really does amaze me to see libs trying to stick to their psychotic talking points from the first years of the war. personally, i feel that you should not be the President if you cannot correctly pronounce the word nuclear (he says nuke-u-lar) or form a coherent sentence under your own power. Clearly you would prefer the silver-tongued smoothness of Clinton, hmm? The same guy who delivered us an economic nightmare and a crippled national security that resulted in... guess what? That's right kids, 9/11. His obsession with ego and flip attitude towards national security created an environment under which those terrorist beasts trained, collaborated, and then carried out the viscious attacks only 9 months after Clinton left office. *For the record, my current organic chemistry professor, a world-renowned authority on molecular physics, mispronounces "nuclear" every time he says it. It drives me nuts. But how relevant is it, anyway? He and Bush are likely brighter than you, you trendy lib clone. Talk about not being able to form a sentence under your own power... Bush is a bumbling, corrupt, idiot who had to resort to rigging an election in order to win. I am a FLORIDIAN and I can say that. I am a FLORIDIAN so I can say that you are brain-dead for saying that. How the HELL did Bush "rig" the election? He won by more votes than any other president preceding him. The 2004 election was a landslide victory, no matter how much you try to rewrite history. As an example of W's idiocy I give you my favorite Bush-ism: "I believe that the humans and the fish can coexist peacefully." What?! Were we in some inter-species war with the fish that I was unaware of? He's an idiot. Period. Alright.... so your one point, the entire crux of your argument, is a single out-of-context quote that was likely meant as a tongue-in-cheek joke? Are you kidding me? You fool, stop wasting our time  Arguing with bware is like talking to a brick wall :shot: First of all, who the hell do you think you are anyway? I've never talked to you in my life, so you can't even claim that. Second of all, shut up. Oh, and here's an observation for ya: ...And when you have to resort to insulting someone as a form of argument on a topic, it just means you need to do more research or just shut the fack up. Because you've obviously run out of things to say. Bush is a bumbling, corrupt, idiot. As an example of W's idiocy I give you my favorite Bush-ism... Our President is completely useless. He's an idiot. Ah... the sweet stench of a liberal's hypocrisy  Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 6 Posted June 15, 2006 He's a Democrat, what can you expect Bware? That they actually use true facts and a credible arguement? Nawww. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted June 15, 2006 Haha, I suppose so TSBO... I just get optimistic sometimes, you know, and actually think someone on the lib side could maybe pose a credible argument in an intellectually stimulating debate. Maybe someday... I'll keep dreaming  Did you notice how this new guy used little emoticons to look like he was shooting me? I just now noticed. Not cool. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted June 16, 2006 errr... BWare I know you don't talk to them alot but just check out about the new members Occupation: party girl I even called her Tanya..... now you might know some fellas called Tanya but I don't and also this proves that you don't acctually read and assimilate information from other peoples quotes proving you are rather thick skined Isn't it amazing that someone brand new can notice what also took me a few seconds to realise.... Talking to BWare is like talking to a brick wall. BWare the reason you don't want to discuss this anymore is because you know I totaly owned you on the Pac argument you have nothing to stand on! I do know that atempting to get BWare to like something he has rarly experience (if he has at all) is a losing battle but proving him wrong and showing that he can't say sh*t is just as good. (really BWare i am wanting to know what Pac songs you have heard!) p.s. for them what care the reason my typing has gone to hell is coz i have rarly been without a drink today as im celibrating Pacs 35th in style! twitchybutswirly 0 Posted June 16, 2006 First, YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS!!! I'M A GIRL!!!!!! And as for my democratic pov, you're damn right i'm a democrat. I have issues with Bush for many reasons not detailed in my post, I just chose the simple ones so you all could understand them. No-bid contracts to Halliburton, an oil company that DICK CHENEY used to head (conflict of interest anyone), the attempted overturn of Roe v. Wade, gay Americans not having the same rights to wed or commit that I have as a heterosexual citizen, draft evasion during wartime...the list goes on. And actually, being an American citizen is EXACTLY what gives me the right to call that re-re Prez of ours just such. Are any of you familiar with a little thing called the Bill of Rights? You know, those first 10 amendments to the Constitution? I am citing Amendment I (that would be freedom of speech, among other things for the simpletons out there). Good try though, dipsh*ts! Share this post Link to post
twitchybutswirly 0 Posted June 16, 2006 Oh, and noone said ANYTHING about the 2004 election. I was referring to the RIGGED election in 2000...hanging chads, etc. I am not a hypocrite...I am not baselessly accusing someone of being an idiot. I gave examples, and actually, that quote was not out-of-context. It was said during a speech on the environment, and was not meant as a joke. DO SOME RESEARCH DUMMY! Or simply watch the next speech and listen for more gems! Share this post Link to post
twitchybutswirly 0 Posted June 16, 2006 Sorry so many replies, but it takes a while to muck through idiocy...and actually, the war is partly about oil. Think reeeeaaallly hard and far back to 1989 when they invaded Kuwait. What was the thing they were after? That they kept setting on fire? Oh, that's right, OIL WELLS!!!! And you are correct, the war is (was) also about finding those ever-elusive weapons of mass destruction. Where are those exactly? Maybe you can tell me. And please, pardon me for thinking that maybe we should be spending billions of dollars and man-hours fixing the problems in our own country before we go "fixing" other countries. And I'm not saying that Clinton should've lied or done whatever it exactly was that he did. But it's also none of our business. Proper grammar and elocution is nothing to be ashamed of, but you probably thought that nuke-u-lar WAS the correct pronunciation of that word. As an intensely public figure, you would think that an intelligent person would want to be corrected. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted June 17, 2006 Right and it was us invading Ku...wait, that was IRAQ!!! Jesus, how old is the last paper you read? Alright. I walk in and see this. Now Tanya (like Im gona type your whole name.... ) If the war is all about Oil, and we "control" the country....care to explain the high oil prices?..... If Bush is such and "idiot" why are the US unemployement rates still dropping?...... He mispronounced Nuclear. Did you know that Moses spoke with a lisp and traveled with his brother Arron so that when he spoke Arron could clarrify what he said? Does that make him anyless the right man for the job?......allow me...NO. badger-you defend the n00b here, yet you talk about being racist....and here she is stereotyping just because of a mispronunciation error.....and you were getting your panties in a bunch over BWare..... Man, if you guys (and gals) want to argue, thats fine. But if your gona defende the liberal/democrat view of things ( ) at least avoid being a huge hypocrite. It really takes what little credibility you had right ouot of any arguments you present or defend. Oh and Badger, about the Tupac thing....get over it. Yes yes we know you "won" (good call on walking out BWare) and we've heard it already. Give it a rest. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted June 17, 2006 Oh and Badger, about the Tupac thing....get over it. Yes yes we know you "won" (good call on walking out BWare) and we've heard it already. Give it a rest. errr BWare didn't 'walk out' as he just got pwned Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted June 17, 2006 BWare the reason you don't want to discuss this anymore is because you know I totaly owned you on the Pac argument you have nothing to stand on! errr BWare didn't 'walk out' as he just got pwned @badger the simple: You are a clown. I'm done talking to you badger, you sad, sad fool..... you've never "owned" anyone on anything. I gave up on trying to reason with you, because, yes, it's just like talking to a brick wall  You just, basically, don't deserve my attention anymore. You lost the privilege. Done. First' date=' YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS!!! I'M A GIRL!!!!!![/quote']When did I imply that you WEREN'T a girl? Okay, just wondering (very relevant point, by the way) No-bid contracts to Halliburton' date=' an oil company that DICK CHENEY used to head (conflict of interest anyone)[/quote']First of all, Halliburton isn't an oil company. Secondly, the rest of your facts, while somewhat half accurate, are horribly misconstrued by you. There is NO conflict of interest (Cheney is no longer associated in any way), and no-bid contracts are very standard in situations like the one we're in in Iraq. Do a little research, and don't go reacting to no-bid contracts after JUST learning what they were  ...the attempted overturn of Roe v. Wade... Roe v. Wade is junk law (any honest analyst will tell you this)' date=' and its overturn would allow the issue to be decided DEMOCRATICALLY- by you and me, and every other citizen, as the Constitution instructs. It would put the issue in the hands of the citizens where it belongs, instead of in the hands of a few lifetime-appointed activist judges (the last bastion of power for you liberal nut jobs ). Again, you just don't have any perspective with these issues. ...gay Americans not having the same rights to wed... Marriage is not a right. Wrong premise, wrong conclusion. Are any of you familiar with a little thing called the Bill of Rights? Apparently you have a minimal understanding that would maybe pass a third grade history class. Congrats. "OMG freedum of speach lolz!!11! I kan sey whuteva i want!!11!" You fail to grasp the depth' date=' meaning, and original intent of that right. You're only capable of that typical, liberal, knee-jerk response. Pathetic. I was referring to the RIGGED election in 2000 Yeah, that's cute. Back it up. DO SOME RESEARCH DUMMY! You're attacking a man to his core for a single bad quote... and not even that bad of a quote. DO SOME MORE RESEARCH DUMMY! YOU'RE SOUNDING LIKE A FOOL WITH NOTHING BUT A USELESS QUOTE AND NO SUBSTANCE! Lolz!!1 Think reeeeaaallly hard and far back to 1989 when they invaded Kuwait. What was the thing they were after? Good point. That was back when Saddam gassed his own citizens with... guess what?... WMD!!! Wow' date=' imagine that. We step in to save the day and stop the slaughter, and yet you hate-America, idiot liberals are so damn quick to accuse us of... I don't even know anymore! What's the charge this time? Ugh. And anyways, what makes securing an energy pipeline to our country so damn bad?? What if that WERE our motive in stepping in and challenging a ruthless dictator? Would you take his side no matter WHAT the reason? Something tells me you would. And I'm not saying that Clinton should've lied or done whatever it exactly was that he did. But it's also none of our business. It IS our business. What was done was done in the Oval Office, the highest office in the country (possibly the world). Any office worker will tell you that they would be thrown out on their ass if they did anything even approaching what he did to defile that office. Reagan, our greatest ever president, wouldn't even remove his jacket because he was so humbled by the great men that had preceded him in that office. That scumbag Clinton removed his pants, and then... well, fill in the blank . He then lied about it, under oath, to the American people, which was a blatant act of perjury that got him impeached and permanently disbarred. As the citizens who he represents and who pay his salary, how the hell is this NOT our business? He mispronounced Nuclear. Did you know that Moses spoke with a lisp and traveled with his brother Arron so that when he spoke Arron could clarrify what he said? Does that make him anyless the right man for the job?......allow me...NO. NICE use of Biblical precedent, and a very apt point. Smooth talkers do NOT make good leaders. Smooth talkers are used car salesmen. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted June 17, 2006 Very true BWare, what our president does is very much our business. Funny how the democrats/liberals of this day and age jump at everylittle thing Bush does, but as soon as Clinton comes up, its all "oh we should mind our own business, he is hte president after all" That kind of reminds me of a few certain Orwellian situations where humans force themselves to forget the truth and just accept lies because its "easier, in the end" Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted June 17, 2006 Whoa  You guys are still debating that old trash about oil, iraq invasion, Bush, etc. Why don't you guys stop already, I think such thing like this has been discussed so many times. It's boring already...just let those so-called-smart politicians to settle things. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted June 17, 2006 Thats the problem, some of us refuse to stand by and watch people pretend to believe in what Liberals preach about how "bad" Bush is when in reality, he has done a pretty good job, considering the circumstances. Note that when he took office, national security was in shambles and US foreign policy had been a joke since the end of Desert Storm. I think we all know what happened after that. But just sitting here and letting people rant on with false facts and accusations is a little unsettliing to me. Some of you could care less. In that case....dont watch this thread Share this post Link to post

Cygnus X-1 12 Posted June 17, 2006 Oh yes, because Bush let the nation fall to the point of Civil war, and he took over Europe, and initiated the Holocaust, then killed 20 million of his own people, then threw national security out the window and gave a rising communist superpower nuclear weapons. Oh yes, I can easily see how Bush compares to the ones I mentioned..... Share this post Link to post

twitchybutswirly 0 Posted June 17, 2006 i never said the us invaded kuwait..."they" was a pronoun used in a response to refer to the country being discussed...and all i said was that quote was my favorite. not the only one. you're ridiculous...roe v. wade gives females the option of having an abortion. what bush was trying to do was make all abortions illegal unless medically necessary, which doesn't make too much sense to me considering his party is the one bitching about welfare reforms. hmm....forcing women to have unwanted/unprepared for/unplanned pregnancies. what will that lead to? thats right, more welfare mothers. and you didn't have to imply that i wasn't a girl. you and your cronies all specifically stated "he." i'm so over trying to have a discussion because you all remind me of my brother. and i wasn't referring to the no-bid contracts in iraq. i was referring to the ones in south america that you probably didn't even know existed. and when they were awarded, cheney was still on the board. anything else? nevermind, i don't care. and actually, marriage is a right. you have the option to wed whomever you want, apparently as long as you are not homosexual. sick of this...i have every right to not like the president i didn't vote for.
